Mandatory Post Flairs

You're probably reading the title and already know what it means. For those that don't, I'll explain.

Mandatory Post Flairs are something we've had enabled on /r/FortniteBR for the longest time, actually a bit over a year now. Mandatory flairs allow for better searching (by filtering via flair) and overall help Epic (along with us moderators) to categorize what a post is about.

Please note that using a intentionally mis-flairing a post to skirt by the rules won't prevent your post from being removed. For instance, flairing a post "humor" to avoid it being removed for discussion won't work.

All Posts have 30 minutes from when they were made to be flaired. Posts will automatically be removed by /u/NoSkinBot if they are not flaired after this time frame.

Subreddit Chatrooms

Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, Cotton-Eye Joe?

You may have noticed the chat rooms have suddenly disappeared from the subreddit. Why? To put it simply, they were broken. As Reddit continued to add/improve/change features of the redesign, other features broke. However, the end-user wouldn't be aware of this as it was mostly moderation features that would break. Due to these features breaking, we can't properly manage the chatrooms (We can't even add new rule filters...) and it wouldn't be in our best interest to leave a broken chat on the subreddit.

In lieu of the chatrooms, you may use our (newly partnered) discord server: https://discord.gg/rfortnite

We have chat rooms for LFG, schematic discussion, hero discussion, and more.

Discord Contest

As mentioned above, our discord has recently received partnership, and with this partnership comes a customized splash screen for our vanity invite link ( https://discord.gg/rfortnite ).

We decided it'd be better to let the community pick (or design) the splash screen instead of us moderators coming up with it.

Contest Info:

• The splash screen must abide by our subreddit and discord rules, along with discord's partner Code of Conduct

• The winning splash screen will be used (with credits to the creator) indefinitely, and the winner will get a special role on the discord (color of their choice, within reason)

• The contest will run until the end of season 8

• You may post your entries in the #splash-screen-contest-2019 channel as an image or a link.

• Users may vote on entries via the :upvote: and :downvote: reactions.

• Conversing in the contest channel is not allowed.

• Adding additional reactions (that are not the two acceptable ones above) is not allowed.
