[2019] Does anybody remember when gunslinger and riot (fridge door shield) husks didn't exist?

So, I bought STW during the 50% off sale during the birthday event about 6 months ago. I get that the gunslinger cowboys, AKA aimbot husks were added during the road trip. I thought they'd leave the game with the road trip event, but they stayed. Then for either fortnitemares or the cram session they added the riot husky.

Obviously both of these guys are still in the game. But does anyone remember blockbuster or any previous event where these guys didn't exist? I imagine it would've been much more freeing and easy without being aimbot laz0red by a literal finger gun or being bashed around and stunlocked by a f*cking invincibility shield you have to maneuver around. I remember the days that the riot husky didn't exist (barely), and I wish I could go back. If I had known what was coming, I would've enjoyed the game more.

Were there other event enemies that were arguably worse? Do you longer time STW players think the husks and such were better with just normal husks, husky husks, bees, lobbers, the baby husklings, and the mist monsters?
