So, forever, a great source of mech parts and batteries is washer/dryers. Every washer dryer that was closed was searchable and produced one or the other. If a washer/dryer is open you can't search it.
The industrial warehouse of appliances, and the city washeteria, were battery mines. Not anymore.
Since the last big update washer/dryers are not searchable even when closed.
This has happened at the same time BR washer/dryers became breakable producing gold.
I'm guessing this is a bug and not a conscious game change.
I play on PC, but friends on other platforms report the same.
It can be reproduced by loading in, finding a closed washer/dryer and trying to search. No interact option appears.
