[2019] They are getting a STW mode, they are getting STW for free

I made a comment on a similar post eairler this morning so I'll quote that information here :)

The mode is definitely fun but I wouldn't directly compare it to STW as it's no where near as complex or deep.

Much like Beta Storms in STW.. LTMs give the BR dev team flexibility on new types of gameplay. LTMs (and Beta Storms) are ever changing and allows us to temporarily test new ideas in each game mode. There was some great reception around the Deimos fiends and the team wanted to use them again in some way.

You never know what type of LTM or Beta Storm will appear as we're always discussing new ideas.
