[2019] v8.40.1 Client Update

We've released v8.40.1 client update to resolve some issues that appeared in the v8.40 update.

Yesterday we've found the fix for getting kicked out of the mission issue, but unfortunately it happened too late for it to be included in console versions of the 8.40.1 update. However we were able to include it into the PC version of the update. We sincerely apologize to console players about this issue.

Update 12:10pm: We're working on implementing a console fix for the players getting kicked from matches issue. We are targeting a release for early next week.

Hey everyone,

As mentioned above, there is indeed a PC only fix that we were able to get into this patch regarding the player kicking issue. This fix came in extremely late last night as the team was working tirelessly to get this resolved. I've updated the Resolved issues list to reflect this.

Additionally, this patch did have a fix for the following (These were issues in all game modes):

Throwable items were not dealing damage if it was the last item consumed in a stack.
The countdown for the Item Shop was showing an incorrect time.

This patch did include a PC only fix for the kicking issue, throwable not dealing damage correctly, and an incorrect countdown for the Item Shop.

The kick fix came in extremely late and wasn't populated in the notes. I've fixed that now.

Just got Zenith, what are the best/most up to date builds I should be using?

Known Issues Addressed by v32.11

Built-In Emotes may not appear in the "My Locker Loadout" tab.

Jam Emotes may not function properly in Team Rumble and might not work in Battle Royale after a Team Rumble match.
