s | what's going on for tonight BAM |
---|---|
s | I'm Z and I'm sundown in week four of |
s | the fortnight champion series wrapped up |
s | so if you missed anything we're here to |
s | get you up to speed let's get started |
s | let's kick things off with the Middle |
s | East where for the first time ever we |
s | saw a new trio take the number one spot |
s | yeah for the first time we saw a feasel |
s | and clops fall from the top spot and |
s | they actually placed 73rd and we saw in |
s | the top spot instead was prime aflame |
s | and hunter flame we'd seen previously he |
s | qualified for the world cup out of the |
s | Asia region but unfortunately was unable |
s | to attend due to visa issues but now |
s | back with a vengeance in the Middle East |
s | and him and Hunter had two ridiculous |
s | individual performances they're able to |
s | score 119 points with to victory Royales |
s | in average a top 7 placement and |
s | honestly the story here going into the |
s | final week and then going into the |
s | finals is what is up with the alter ego |
s | crew they tilted really really hard in |
s | their game spending 16 17 minutes to get |
s | two or three points on four different |
s | occasions and you saw that really just |
s | put them out of the running but the fact |
s | that they were so dominant in the first |
s | two weeks with hero Kappa and then last |
s | week they flipped back over to playing |
s | with flow saw then this week actually |
s | played 50/50 in the heat so in one of |
s | the heats they played with hero Kappa so |
s | a little bit of drama going on there but |
s | I'm really interested to see what |
s | happens going into the final in OCE |
s | we saw goo Boz link and worthy pick up |
s | another win so who's really free Moen |
s | because originally we saw the twins and |
s | Volks were far and away the strongest in |
s | OCE but link goo boss and worthy put up |
s | a hundred and fifty-two points they're |
s | back to back in the top spot they had |
s | three victories and 91 eliminations and |
s | in particular gotta call out were these |
s | individual performance in the games he |
s | had a number of runs where he was able |
s | to clutch up and make key performances |
s | and then late continues to show off his |
s | precision aiming with the rifles and now |
s | with the unbolting of the suppressed AR |
s | I actually think that's a buff to this |
s | team as a whole because if they're able |
s | to get an infantry rifle and a |
s | suppressed AR into |
s | plus were these hands and then have goo |
s | paws able to kind of like igl and build |
s | around for them they've been so |
s | incredibly strong and now going into the |
s | final week it's about who is better |
s | between these two trios each has had two |
s | weeks up top and going into the fifth |
s | week they want the tiebreaker each one |
s | wants to be going in the final saying |
s | hey we won three out of those five weeks |
s | we know we're the best because OCE |
s | is a region where momentum really really |
s | really matters and if you feel like |
s | you're better sometimes you just ought |
s | in Asia the t-one trio got themselves in |
s | number one spot and that came from sinew |
s | envy and Peter Pan yeah so t1 showing a |
s | little bit of dominance going in there |
s | particularly winning their last two |
s | matches with a decent amount of elands |
s | there push them up 224 points overall |
s | and their story was really just their |
s | impeccable high ground control once |
s | they're able to get up there they |
s | control it which is really impressive |
s | considering the shockwave Mehta and how |
s | often you see retakes going on but they |
s | put enough pressure on their opponents |
s | where they generally are ending up |
s | forcing their opponents to use |
s | horizontal shock waves instead of |
s | challenging for height anybody who does |
s | challenge for height just gets beamed |
s | whether it's from a pair of shotguns |
s | looking at you right away or three |
s | rifles instantly focusing you down and |
s | Asia going into the finals is really |
s | nobody's asserted themselves at the top |
s | we've seen a number of the Korean teams |
s | up there at the top we've seen the |
s | Japanese teams able to push up as well |
s | the Chinese teams are contending and |
s | honestly like you couldn't ask me to |
s | pick a favor I think on the day it's |
s | whoever is having a better game before |
s | tonight over any you the loudest trio |
s | was back at it again 147 points in three |
s | Viktor who else and now after cementing |
s | themselves in first they have placed |
s | second first second and first in each |
s | one of the week so going into week five |
s | they're going to look to continue that |
s | performance but the one thing I want to |
s | talk about is it's clear in Europe |
s | how its Michio Mongo and Benji against |
s | the world everyone else is playing |
s | second fiddle to them and they want to |
s | catch up however we've seen them in this |
s | position before meat roll most famously |
s | doesn't necessarily perform under |
s | pressure in the best of circumstances |
s | Benji as well has known to come |
s | a little bit short mongrel on the other |
s | hand thrives in it so it's interesting |
s | to see whether or not they'll be able to |
s | continue their push going for it and |
s | continue their dominance but there is no |
s | question they're the best team in the |
s | region and the only reason they got |
s | second places in those other weeks is |
s | because they had a number of bad |
s | performances in a row and they were |
s | still right up there towards the top so |
s | it is on them to lose it they are far |
s | and away the best trio in Europe and |
s | probably the world in Brazil the trio of |
s | snow adler and techno viking were number |
s | one yeah the red boys were able to put |
s | up three victory warehouse in 161 points |
s | and most importantly in those victory |
s | warehouse they had 23 20 and 11 |
s | eliminations and once you able to get |
s | rolling like that it's really difficult |
s | to kind of keep them down and techno |
s | viking and so in particular if they're |
s | able to get a number of items and they |
s | feel confident you'll see them start |
s | running at people and knowing that like |
s | hey we have a shield advantage we know |
s | like hey if we get chipped out we can |
s | back off use our mats and heal ourselves |
s | up but more often than not once they |
s | take one fight they're gonna continue |
s | taking them and continue winning them |
s | and going into last week and going into |
s | the finals South America and Brazil is |
s | very similar to Asia in the sense where |
s | we haven't seen a team repeating up at |
s | the top we've seen the c9 boys in mass |
s | tier have pushed up their King and his |
s | teammates exone and toxic we're able to |
s | take a top spot like it's rotated |
s | through the different players I thought |
s | was up there as well we haven't had a |
s | definitive trio able to really clear |
s | themselves but there's four or five who |
s | are there and it's all about who's |
s | better on that day and who's able to |
s | kind of get the momentum get the |
s | matchups and push themselves forward |
s | going into the finals and the heats it's |
s | going to be incredibly entertaining over |
s | an na East clean Tigers King hitter and |
s | York Meister were number one |
s | a K heartbeat gaalan's and zuray doing a |
s | little bit of free mo and over in na |
s | East the OCE veterans were able to close |
s | out their last four games with three |
s | victory rouse and a second place also |
s | having 37a limps too far in a way |
s | dominate the rest of the competition and |
s | it's one of those things where |
s | like people kind of like to I don't want |
s | to say trash but looking down on the |
s | Oceania see in a little bit and be like |
s | oh yeah the top players are good but as |
s | a whole like we really don't think they |
s | can like hold water with that but then |
s | as they come over and just have such a |
s | dominant performance and they're able to |
s | shut out so many other teams and |
s | continue pressing and having that level |
s | of success with their aggression I want |
s | to see that consistency go over in any |
s | East in particular it's one of those |
s | places where we haven't seen a team |
s | consistently right up at the top but we |
s | do have a number of teams who are always |
s | in that top five and I think the |
s | favorites right now have to go over to |
s | booga clarity and stretch they have the |
s | amount of experience two of them playing |
s | on the World Cup stage booga obviously |
s | being that solo World Cup winner in the |
s | end and then just stretching clarity are |
s | such good compliments to him they've |
s | been qualified every single one of the |
s | weeks been pushing in towards that top |
s | five were able to win one of the weeks |
s | and nobody else has had that level of |
s | consistency everyone else has had at |
s | least one bad week in there and I think |
s | once we get into the heats and get into |
s | these tighter matches the experience and |
s | their level of aggression and kind of |
s | their teamwork is going to shine so |
s | right now I think they're just a little |
s | bit above maybe three or four other |
s | teams who are right towards the top and |
s | finally in Na West symmetrical epic well |
s | and Leno managed to edge out the |
s | competition the trio was able to win |
s | four of their eight games to score at |
s | 156 points it honestly cement themselves |
s | as a new contender out of Na West to |
s | push themselves along with that combo of |
s | edgy scented and Rex and then the wavy |
s | Jacob tie tanks in Tomas kinda those |
s | three trios have all been pushed right |
s | towards the top in consistently |
s | challenging and I think one of those |
s | three are the favourites coming out of |
s | Na West so keep an eye and see what the |
s | leaderboard looks like in week five as |
s | we head into the finals |
s | and that wraps up the recap we're |
s | getting ready to head into the final |
s | weekend of fnc s qualifiers make sure |
