Sorry to see that you ran into this issue. Can you describe what happened and how your characters ended up like this?
Reaching the final round of knockout the screen after choosing the tech froze for around a minute before me and one other player spawned in as shown in the image. We were unable to do anything other than look around. We also took no storm damage even when we were in the storm, eventually the victory screen showed and told us we had won the game.
