Just had some creative 1v1s against a friend and noticed that you can't put traps on walls if there is a stair connected to them since the 8.20 update.
This is a horrendous bug that needs to be fixed as fast as possible.

This is an issue we're aware of and actively investigating. In the meantime, you can work around this by using the trap to auto-build the wall instead of placing the wall then trying to place the trap.
