| 377s | are you you've just returned from |
| 378s | Copenhagen you were there in person at |
| 380s | globals how are you feeling have you |
| 381s | recovered from all the jet lag all |
| 383s | craziness I honestly never recovered |
| 385s | from the jet lag going to Copenhagen so |
| 387s | coming back was really easy cuz I never |
| 389s | change my sleep schedule it was it was |
| 392s | absolutely amazing it's a Bittersweet |
| 394s | moment because you you're so excited to |
| 396s | see like everything culminate into this |
| 398s | beautiful event and for now it to be |
| 401s | over you know I'm sad leaving Copenhagen |
| 403s | leaving all the players all of my |
| 405s | friends and the talent team and being |
| 407s | here but I'm excited to be here so it's |
| 408s | all better that's great of course you |
| 411s | your losses are gained because even |
| 412s | though you're not there anymore we can |
| 413s | we can find out all about what it was |
| 414s | like to be there in person we're going |
| 416s | to break it all down for you whether |
| 417s | you're listening or watching the show |
| 419s | here uh we have got it all for you and |
| 421s | we're going to lay it all out but just |
| 422s | to get you up to speed of what's |
| 423s | happening in today's show we have |
| 425s | ourselves obviously Global Champs |
| 426s | talking all about exactly how that |
| 427s | unfolded uh we of course have the |
| 429s | illustrious quiz I know Kelly you can't |
| 431s | wait for this you are really excited she |
| 434s | looks really excited I was informed that |
| 437s | other people got zero points so I'm I'm |
| 439s | now more confident than I've ever been I |
| 441s | was just like oh I'm going to be the |
| 442s | first person to get zero points here but |
| 444s | that's no longer an issue so I'm fine |
| 446s | hey you are absolutely fine don't worry |
| 448s | you're fine and plus you're playing |
| 449s | against BG so things will be totally |
| 450s | fine uh also you have Sor low blow low |
| 454s | blow I'm sorry uh 2023 format and the |
| 457s | future of fortnite we'll talk about as |
| 459s | well in competitive and upcoming |
| 461s | tournaments too there's still loads |
| 462s | happening uh in the competitive space |
| 464s | right now in fortnite 2 so we'll break |
| 465s | that all down for you but let's just |
| 467s | dive in obviously of course the global |
| 468s | championships uh it only happened |
| 470s | recently uh SBG you and I watching from |
| 472s | home with massive fomo Kelly you were |
| 474s | there in person uh let's just get into |
| 476s | you know what it was actually like first |
| 478s | of course how was it a very a very basic |
| 481s | kind of question but one that I think we |
| 482s | want to know how was the experience uh |
| 485s | SBG I'll ask you first uh being at home |
| 487s | as a spectator um how' you find it buddy |
| 490s | I think it was awesome I mean from |
| 491s | beginning to end the cinematics isn't |
| 495s | the right word but like seeing the |
| 496s | opening sequence for the stage was |
| 499s | really cool to watch and then just I |
| 501s | mean I love fortnite so I'm like way too |
| 504s | biased but I love watching the game and |
| 507s | just watching game after game it was a |
| 509s | lot of fun to enjoy and just the overall |
| 511s | weekend was a blast obviously um like |
| 514s | you just said I had a kid so didn't get |
| 516s | to watch it all as it happened but I |
| 519s | caught most of it and then uh watched |
| 521s | the rest after I had some time the past |
| 523s | week you weren't changing diapers while |
| 526s | watching like the on V2 or anything now |
| 528s | you had to like actually separate |
| 529s | yourself h no I I I couldn't get myself |
| 532s | to do that but luckily like Saturday and |
| 534s | Sunday were a little more relaxed Friday |
| 536s | was a little |
| 538s | tough yeah I |
| 540s | bet I absolutely loved it I mean for me |
| 545s | I always say and I've been saying this |
| 546s | for a decade now um that Esports half of |
| 548s | Esports is the story and I think that |
| 550s | the story that we got to have with the |
| 552s | fncs this year was absolutely incredible |
| 555s | the fact that the story started all the |
| 556s | way back with major 1 with the first set |
| 558s | of teams going through into the global |
| 560s | championships and then all the way |
| 562s | through having it like build up this |
| 564s | kind of like you know almost anxiety but |
| 567s | like you know excited anxiety and even |
| 569s | having the last chance major with the |
| 571s | teams go to the lower bracket which |
| 572s | we've never seen before having it be a |
| 575s | three-day tournament and each day was |
| 578s | essentially its own tournament with new |
| 580s | teams and like you know a new like Drop |
| 583s | map and everything it just built up into |
| 585s | such an exciting moment and that |
| 588s | exciting moment being Miron Cooper |
| 590s | walking away in first place and even |
| 591s | their story is amazing but we'll talk |
| 593s | about them in a minute we will |
| 595s | definitely talk about them because there |
| 596s | there there's loads to digest about what |
| 598s | they managed to do which was just |
| 599s | absolutely kind of Otherworldly almost |
| 601s | and I mean that that kind of opening |
| 603s | kind of uh I guess Zeke's introduction |
| 605s | to the whole show as well was was it was |
| 608s | breathtaking watching it because you |
| 609s | could see you you could feel as well the |
| 611s | kind of like the the the crowd you could |
| 613s | feel the the energy as well in in in the |
| 615s | arena was just absolutely out of control |
| 617s | I mean what was it like being there as |
| 618s | well Kelly like you know seeing that |
| 620s | kind of like that introduction and kind |
| 621s | of like the everything play out as it |
| 623s | did in that kind of opening day of the |
| 625s | uh the tournament it was emotional all |
| 628s | right like so so as someone that has |
| 631s | been in Esports for about a decade now |
| 633s | and that has done my fair share of show |
| 635s | opens the way that Zeke did it is so |
| 638s | stressful I will be practicing my |
| 641s | monologue for days beforehand and going |
| 643s | over to my head and Zeke was doing the |
| 645s | same thing during like our two days of |
| 647s | rehearsal he was like talking to |
| 649s | everyone all the talent all like the |
| 650s | different production people like going |
| 652s | through his his intro his monologue and |
| 654s | asking about like advice tips and |
| 656s | anything and he was like Chang it little |
| 658s | bit by little bit right literally like |
| 660s | the day before he's supposed to do it |
| 662s | and we like me and Minnie Miner when we |
| 663s | were up there were like dude just like |
| 665s | go in there confident like you you got |
| 667s | this you're going to own it and he goes |
| 670s | up there and this face of fortnite Zeke |
| 672s | has been there since the beginning and |
| 674s | he we all see him as the like what's up |
| 676s | fortnite fam uh and I say that with love |
| 678s | I say that with so much love and he just |
| 681s | slays it he doesn't miss a beat it's the |
| 684s | perfect amount of dramatic but also like |
| 687s | Zeke fun casual ual and then to toss it |
| 691s | into the absolutely amazing stage reveal |
| 694s | which you were saying SPG just like it |
| 696s | was so cool and it was so amazing and it |
| 700s | really set the tone for the show I |
| 703s | couldn't have been happier me and Minnie |
| 704s | when we were on the anal desk and Zeke |
| 706s | came back to us after that moment we're |
| 708s | freaking out that's so cool especially |
| 711s | because like we all know how much Zeke |
| 713s | cares and he doesn't want to like be the |
| 716s | face all he does is want to give it the |
| 718s | proper moment he absolutely crushed it |
| 721s | so shout out to Zeke always being there |
| 723s | always crushing it yeah big love big Z |
| 726s | love to see it it was I think that was |
| 728s | that you're right the it was the entire |
| 730s | spectacle too like the augmented reality |
| 731s | I loved and the kind of meshing of like |
| 733s | the battle bus morphing into like the |
| 735s | the the guy dropping out of the of the |
| 737s | bus and then plummeting towards I mean |
| 738s | the map it was just it was just really |
| 740s | special it was really special C I'm |
| 743s | sorry but like you think that's |
| 744s | augmented reality that was all the stage |
| 746s | none of that was like super imposing yes |
| 749s | yes isn't that crazy it looked like it |
| 751s | was like a fake 3D like what we saw from |
| 752s | previous lands no that was all the stage |
| 755s | it looked like that in person too it was |
| 757s | wild I it's like coming out of me at |
| 759s | home I was like it like at the screen |
| 761s | that was I can't imagine that I can't |
| 763s | imagine I can't imagine that that's |
| 764s | incredible I mean that that you just |
| 765s | goes shows the level of like you know |
| 767s | the entertainment side of things as well |
| 769s | here and kind of like the spectacle that |
| 770s | it was as we said here but you know we |
| 772s | wanted to see entertainment we wanted |
| 774s | drama and we got exactly that and you |
| 777s | know you already kind of uh shout it out |
| 778s | there winners there Meo and Cooper and |
| 781s | mean SBG this is this was a this was a a |
| 784s | performance we did not expect uh this Jo |
| 786s | necessarily to to win this competition |
| 789s | but boy did they do it with with a plum |
| 791s | and the tactics I mean what were you |
| 793s | what were you impressed by with this Duo |
| 795s | who actually managed to win Global |
| 796s | championships well I think mostly I was |
| 799s | impressed by the capability and the |
| 803s | caless of the duo I mean Meo is one who |
| 807s | historically has gotten some shade for |
| 809s | his lack of ability to play on land and |
| 812s | clearly that's gone when you win the |
| 814s | biggest event of the year you can't talk |
| 816s | anymore and then Cooper is a player |
| 818s | that's fairly new to ig Ling or leading |
| 821s | his Duo and you're leading the best |
| 824s | controller player of all time so he not |
| 826s | only does that but does that perfectly |
| 830s | throughout the six games and you know |
| 832s | there's mistakes here or there but they |
| 834s | compensate for that and ultimately |
| 836s | Cooper stepped up to miro's level we |
| 838s | know is a five time Champion Cooper |
| 842s | Champion now himself I mean the two I |
| 844s | can't say enough good things about these |
| 846s | two because it it was just such |
| 849s | confident gameplay and then ultimately |
| 851s | if you told me this team would win by |
| 853s | pretty much a games worth of points I |
| 855s | would have told you you're absolutely |
| 856s | wrong there's no way that happens but |
| 858s | that's what this Duo did yeah I would |
| 861s | say that was the case for almost |
| 862s | everyone anyone that put out a |
| 863s | prediction list they didn't have Meo or |
| 865s | Cooper and they were definitely |
| 866s | overlooked and I think a lot of that and |
| 868s | I'm going to go back to the story of |
| 870s | Esports um was the story that Cooper |
| 872s | Ando told from the beginning they they |
| 874s | made it through the last chance major |
| 876s | they like made it through the lower |
| 878s | bracket so a lot of people kind of just |
| 880s | overlooked them for the teams that |
| 881s | already qualified through Majors 1 |
| 883s | through three and for them to do that |
| 886s | and the story of the coin flip which I'm |
| 889s | sure most people watching or listening |
| 891s | already know the fact that Meo almost |
| 893s | retired from fortnite but let it all |
| 895s | come down to a coin flip of if he was |
| 897s | going to be joining Cooper for for this |
| 899s | year is just I don't know I feel like |
| 902s | I'm going to see like a Showtime movie |
| 904s | about this eventually I hope so I I mean |
| 907s | I mean the coin flip that sent ripples |
| 908s | around the world that that we kind of |
| 911s | you heard about this coin like shalai |
| 912s | shant I me a lot of times as well when |
| 913s | you me about you kind of um Meo saying |
| 916s | that he's gonna you know hang up his |
| 917s | controller and kind of step away from |
| 919s | the game or the competive aspect at |
| 921s | least um a lot of players you know kind |
| 923s | of have a few moments out their careers |
| 926s | but the accolades that that that Miro |
| 928s | has already you know you his sixth title |
| 931s | let's not forget here you know Cooper's |
| 933s | fourth fnts final as well but I mean |
| 936s | miror has done so much in the game but |
| 938s | but so we're kind of like okay |
| 940s | understandable if you kind of feel |
| 941s | you've achieved but then to go out there |
| 942s | and do Global championships surely that |
| 944s | kind of like you know inspires you to |
| 946s | want to go back in and say hey I still |
| 947s | got it baby let's get back in the mix |
| 949s | here and carry on going I mean SBG do |
| 951s | you think do you think we're going to |
| 952s | see like the continuation from here and |
| 954s | now kind of thinking I ain't hanging up |
| 955s | anything I'm getting straight back in |
| 957s | here I think as long as he keeps playing |
| 959s | the game and having a Passion to play |
| 961s | the game he'll keep winning he's shown |
| 963s | this year after year after year this is |
| 965s | now three years in a row that he's won a |
| 968s | championship and he's done it in |
| 969s | multiple different game modes multiple |
| 971s | different teammates so there's literally |
| 974s | nothing and we saw a lot of goat debate |
| 976s | going on like is Meo in the conversation |
| 978s | now I I think he definitely deserves to |
| 981s | be in the conversation and I didn't |
| 983s | think before this weekend that or the |
| 987s | previous weekend that he would even be |
| 989s | in that conversation but then you start |
| 991s | going over those accolades like you just |
| 993s | mentioned Adam it's hard to ignore the |
| 995s | greatness of a player like Miro and now |
| 997s | we have Cooper who's coming on to be one |
| 999s | of the greats too I mean the kids's just |
| 1002s | popping off hitting clips left and right |
| 1004s | on a stream right now I think a lot of |
| 1007s | people didn't necessarily Overlook |
| 1010s | miro's accolades but they put like a |
| 1012s | little caveat to it being like Oh well |
| 1015s | these accolades were gained because he |
| 1017s | played with Booga you know the world cup |
| 1019s | champ and between chapters the end of |
| 1021s | chapter 2 and the start of chapter 3 |
| 1023s | that is where a lot of his fncs |
| 1025s | championships were won was by playing |
| 1027s | with buga but I think by even having |
| 1030s | that a lot of people be like oh he's not |
| 1031s | playing with boa anymore so he's not |
| 1032s | going to win anymore by having him show |
| 1035s | everyone up because of that is just an |
| 1039s | even greater tale to tell it is I mean |
| 1042s | and you know the reason being you if you |
| 1044s | didn't get a chance to watch any of this |
| 1045s | please do at some stage go back and and |
| 1047s | watch the vods of what happened at |
| 1048s | globals because it was it was |
| 1049s | unbelievably impressive Meo we know as a |
| 1052s | Fragger as well we know that he has got |
| 1054s | the eliminations are such a massive part |
| 1057s | obviously the combination we always talk |
| 1058s | about the fact standings points and |
| 1060s | eliminations but the eliminations are a |
| 1061s | huge part of this and the fact that um |
| 1063s | he dealt the most damage in the |
| 1065s | tournament I think I think 5,860 worth |
| 1067s | of damage a ratio of two times twice as |
| 1069s | much dealt than he received I mean his |
| 1072s | his moving with zones the way that he |
| 1074s | kind of like you know manages to |
| 1076s | constantly find a way to be in that end |
| 1078s | game as well G is is is I guess what |
| 1080s | what makes him a champ a worthy champion |
| 1082s | and and a player that continuously |
| 1084s | manages to succeed in competitive |
| 1086s | fortnite yeah so I think two things |
| 1089s | based on that damage one is you don't |
| 1091s | typically see controller players which |
| 1093s | Miro is be at the top of the list when |
| 1096s | it comes to damage when you tally up at |
| 1098s | the N fncs Grand finals so first of all |
| 1100s | that is extremely impressive second of |
| 1102s | all going back to the Bugan Meo |
| 1104s | championships that they won for fncs |
| 1106s | that was on the back of a lot of solo |
| 1108s | clutches and shout out to Cooper for |
| 1111s | keeping this Duo together keeping both |
| 1113s | of them alive pretty much every single |
| 1116s | game to be able to secure as many points |
| 1119s | as possible that is a feat in itself |
| 1121s | because it didn't rely on one player |
| 1124s | having to do it it was like perfect |
| 1126s | teamwork just cohesion in its finest and |
| 1129s | then optimizing each game to make sure |
| 1132s | they're getting as many points as |
| 1133s | possible and not trying to sacrifice |
| 1137s | everything to maybe get one more elim or |
| 1140s | maybe be able to get that Victory Royale |
| 1142s | just securing every single point they |
| 1144s | could every single game yeah we know |
| 1146s | storm surge is such a huge kind of wall |
| 1151s | for a lot of these like top level |
| 1152s | players that separates the tippity top |
| 1155s | from like you know the other 40 teams |
| 1157s | that are in our top 50 and Cooper and |
| 1159s | Meo just had such a good strategy for |
| 1162s | making sure that they had their storm |
| 1163s | search tags that they were able to make |
| 1165s | it to the end game every single game I |
| 1167s | think their what their worst performance |
| 1169s | was a 23rd Place in the final game which |
| 1172s | is still really good that's still |
| 1173s | getting placement points but beyond |
| 1175s | placing well they also grabed |
| 1177s | eliminations every single game a handful |
| 1179s | of them which just gave them so much |
| 1182s | like that we always say consistency is |
| 1183s | key and typically we're talking about |
| 1185s | placement but they were consistent |
| 1187s | through placement and eliminations it |
| 1189s | just showed how strong they were overall |
| 1192s | instead of having just one facet of the |
| 1195s | competition you know down to a pad yeah |
| 1198s | that's right that's right I mean if you |
| 1200s | didn't get a chance actually uh to see |
| 1202s | what happened in the in the show as I |
| 1204s | mentioned go Ahad and see it but the end |
| 1206s | interview the opportunity to actually |
| 1207s | chat to Mir and coup at the end of the |
| 1210s | of the show was was something I don't |
| 1211s | think I ever forget K you were on the |
| 1212s | desk when it happened uh let's take a |
| 1214s | look if you if you're watching right now |
| 1216s | uh you can see this if you're listening |

| 1248s | love you Mom love my whole family this |
| 1250s | is insane Cooper absolutely |
| 1254s | insane feels great it feels great for |
| 1257s | the fans out there |
| 1259s | what will you tell them let them know |
| 1262s | keep moving man life's going to knock |
| 1263s | you guys down so many times even outside |
| 1265s | of playing video games and it's just |
| 1267s | about getting back up if you stay down |
| 1269s | you're going to stay down like that's |
| 1270s | how it works you got got to get up and |
| 1272s | keep moving that's my best advice Cooper |

| 1278s | Champion I mean coming from me |
| 1279s | especially just chase your dreams man |
| 1281s | I've played this game for three years |
| 1282s | having little to no earnings and I'm on |
| 1284s | the main stage now being great feels |
| 1286s | good that I mean I I I can't really |
| 1289s | believe that these are two young Lads |
| 1291s | who've just managed to win themselves |
| 1292s | Global championships the composure the |
| 1294s | age have got in front of a live audience |
| 1295s | and done that in front of the world as |
| 1296s | well we thought you heard thousands and |
| 1298s | thousands watching there Kelly I mean |
| 1300s | you were you were standing there I mean |
| 1301s | that unbelievably impressive for them to |
| 1303s | be as mature as they were and kind of |
| 1305s | thanking thanking family members it was |
| 1307s | it was it was so refreshing I loved it |
| 1309s | it really was they they were so eloquent |
| 1313s | and and put together and I think having |
| 1315s | that representation of these very like |
| 1317s | mature well spoken players in in any |
| 1320s | esport is so vital to the competitive |
| 1323s | scene and to have them be able to give |
| 1325s | this message not just of thems but to |
| 1328s | other people to say you know I've been |
| 1330s | playing since I was a kid to be up here |
| 1332s | never give up is so important for the |
| 1336s | future of all Esports not just fortnite |
| 1340s | yeah I love that interview and you know |
| 1342s | there there's several that come to mind |
| 1344s | when I think of like the best interviews |
| 1346s | with fortnite players that one's going |
| 1348s | to be up there for me Miro just being a |
| 1350s | Class Act delivering Powerful Words |
| 1353s | which I'm sure at the time he didn't |
| 1355s | even realize like how powerful that is |
| 1357s | going to be for some people and Cooper |
| 1360s | too like not to be overshadowed hey I |
| 1363s | played this game for a long time I |
| 1364s | didn't give up I kept grinding and now |
| 1367s | I'm up here I'm a champion like shout |
| 1368s | out to both of them it was so good I do |
| 1371s | want to say I think that there was a |
| 1372s | level of like respect from Cooper |
| 1374s | towards Meo he was like you know |
| 1376s | obviously this is my moment as well but |
| 1377s | Meo this has been your journey for so |
| 1380s | long like I'll let him have like the |
| 1382s | main word and I think that there was a |
| 1383s | lot of respect with that yeah there's |
| 1385s | definitely a lot of respect mean I mean |
| 1386s | these moments obviously you talk about |
| 1388s | you the introduction the kind of like |
| 1389s | the big the big moments at the end that |
| 1391s | we saw the kind of winning interviews um |
| 1393s | loads of other moments happen of course |
| 1394s | as well at the course of this |
| 1395s | competition the course of three days |
| 1397s | just just hling a few of them uh quickly |
| 1400s | I mean true Lex Chico winning the last |
| 1401s | two games to finished third contested at |
| 1404s | Slappy uh eliminated off spawn twice I |
| 1407s | mean I mean quany TK finished last I |
| 1409s | mean this is this is really interesting |
| 1411s | as well that you we talked that |
| 1412s | consistency again Kelly as you said the |
| 1414s | fact that you've got players here as |
| 1415s | well who managed to have a couple of |
| 1417s | great games with that last phase of the |
| 1419s | competition SBG makes this massive |
| 1421s | difference because you know I mean you |
| 1423s | getting I guess when they came aside |
| 1425s | third price pool wise is enormous put |
| 1429s | some respect on true likes that is all I |
| 1433s | got to say when people talk about the |
| 1435s | greats no one ever talks about this guy |
| 1437s | because he just Cal |
| 1438s | quietly goes about his job okay maybe he |
| 1441s | hasn't won an fncs in a while but he's |
| 1444s | consistently in that top 10 not even |
| 1447s | arguably he is one of the best igl's in |
| 1449s | the region winning back-to-back games on |
| 1451s | this stage is phenomenal and TRX gets |

| 1502s | back-to-back Victory Royale in like the |
| 1505s | finals since the World Cup and then we |
| 1508s | not only had it from trillx and Chicho |
| 1510s | but we also had it from pixie and Cheon |
| 1512s | these two teams to get backtack vrs it |
| 1515s | just like there was so much like |
| 1516s | incredible moments in these games it |
| 1519s | just had such it was so worth it all |
| 1522s | like just going and having this journey |
| 1525s | for so long literally at this start of |
| 1528s | this year in chapter 4 and to have it |
| 1531s | all come down to this incredible six |

| 1542s | Mages and the calendar everything leads |

| 1553s | as well for players to evolve as the |
| 1555s | competition went along because I guess |
| 1556s | from a community standpoint as well well |

| 1560s | of um you know really invested as well |
| 1562s | because they knew that every performance |
| 1564s | they put in across the course of the |
| 1565s | year was going to lead towards this big |
| 1567s | kind of Crescendo at the end um and |
| 1570s | there were these big moments I mean this |
| 1571s | is this is kind of we're seeing the the |
| 1572s | Crim of the fortnite competitive world |
| 1575s | right now obviously a multinational |
| 1576s | event with different players from all |
| 1577s | over the world coming together here uh |
| 1579s | kind of collaborating and going into the |
| 1581s | same the same matchup and big |
| 1584s | performances as mentioned you know I |
| 1585s | think you know I think that there was I |
| 1587s | think I think King as well one of these |
| 1588s | players that we've seen uh who has been |
| 1590s | so dominant you know over the last few |
| 1593s | years in um in the region um in South |
| 1596s | America and such and then you see him |
| 1598s | you World Cup and now here still |
| 1600s | managing to pull out massive massive |
| 1602s | plays in the likes of global |
| 1604s | championships yeah hey that is someone |
| 1606s | that is not afraid of the moment there |

| 1613s | nervous he is clearly not one of them |

| 1626s | Brazilian Duos do a little bit better uh |

| 1648s | Asia as well has seemed to consistently |
| 1650s | show they're ready to play on a big |
| 1652s | stage yeah I mean we did see a Brazilian |
| 1655s | team at the Invitational pH Zen's team |
| 1657s | get that fifth place spot and then for |
| 1659s | this one it was Pap and Shalom from |
| 1661s | Japan getting that fifth place spot as |
| 1663s | well so representing the the smaller |
| 1665s | regions I I say with quotation marks |
| 1667s | because honestly a lot of them have so |
| 1669s | much to provide and and to show up for |
| 1671s | in the competitions that we got to see |

| 2744s | you can log into log into the game but |
| 2747s | um I think it's it's really exciting to |
| 2749s | see what what 202 24s and look like if |
| 2751s | you if you you know comparatively to |
| 2752s | what has been a tip top 2023 yeah really |
| 2756s | interested I'm sure soon enough we'll |

| 2793s | bring all the players in have some fun |
| 2795s | maybe in Raleigh because I'm a little |
| 2797s | biased it was really cool in Raleigh |
| 2799s | that was fun um and just do some like |
| 2803s | skills challenges maybe a little solo |
| 2805s | event something along those lines that |
| 2807s | that is what I would love to see I saw a |
| 2808s | lot of Buzz about that throughout the |
| 2810s | community after globals but all I all I |
| 2814s | know is everyone G the post Global's |
| 2818s | like Vibes and as many times as we can |
| 2821s | get that per year the |
| 2823s | better I mean honestly SBG that sounds |
| 2825s | amazing to me I would love more |
| 2827s | in-person events I think that it's just |
| 2829s | it brings such a level of energy it |
| 2831s | allows the fans to interact and and be a |
| 2834s | part of the show the amount of people |
| 2837s | that I got to watch get just swarmed by |
| 2840s | fans for pictures and autographs not |
| 2843s | even just the players but also the |
| 2844s | talent one of my favorite moments |
| 2846s | actually was that I got to interview |
| 2848s | flis a a fortnite pro from Copenhagen or |
| 2851s | from Denmark I should say and we got to |
| 2853s | do it on the main stage and as soon as |
| 2855s | we wrapped up the interview and he |
| 2857s | walked off I kid you not 40 kids ran up |
| 2861s | and swarmed him actually took pictures |
| 2862s | of it it looks like a zombie apocalypse |
| 2865s | just begging her for his autographs and |
| 2867s | to have that opportunity is so |
| 2870s | incredible yeah I I I think you're |
| 2872s | absolutely right you know there there is |
| 2874s | something just that just hits different |
| 2876s | about being there and not just for the |
| 2877s | fans not just for like of the broadcast |
| 2879s | team but for the players too I think the |
| 2881s | players actually being there rubbing |
| 2882s | shoulders with each other and and being |
| 2884s | in the same space I think as it's it's a |
| 2886s | it's it's really exciting for for I |
| 2889s | guess new aspiring players as well |
| 2890s | because getting to rub shoulders you |
| 2891s | know you get you manage to qualify for |
| 2893s | something like Global Champs um whatever |
| 2894s | might be or you know a competition to be |
| 2897s | there around the players we talked about |
| 2898s | Meo and you know Thomas HD and canardo |
| 2901s | and all these players that are have |
| 2903s | become so such a pivotal part of what is |
| 2906s | the game today competitively to be there |
| 2908s | in the same space is inspiring I think |
| 2910s | it's really exciting I think those those |
| 2911s | events getting together I mean are |
| 2913s | really great Kelly I I just wanted to |
| 2916s | add Acorn and cold you look through |
| 2918s | their like personal history there's |
| 2920s | definitely some like you know some I |
| 2922s | don't want to say animosity but |
| 2923s | obviously some disagreements and to see |
| 2925s | them up on stage just showering each |
| 2929s | other with praise and and like |
| 2931s | confidence in saying that this is one of |
| 2933s | the best players in the world I'm so |
| 2934s | glad that they're they get to be my my |
| 2936s | partner that like being in person just |
| 2938s | adds so much more to that so I I |
| 2941s | completely agree with what you're saying |
| 2943s | Adam like it's not just for the fans and |
| 2946s | the viewers but also these players being |
| 2948s | in person it's such a huge moment yeah |

| 2953s | new and upcoming players when they get |

| 2959s | play against buga and then it's like oh |
| 2962s | he's he's actually just a person he's |
| 2964s | really nice and he spoke to me we had a |
| 2966s | great conversation like I think just any |
| 2968s | kind of camaraderie between the |
| 2971s | community is awesome and getting to meet |
| 2973s | your Idols who then now become not your |
| 2976s | Rivals but your competitors is a really |
| 2978s | cool experience for a lot of these young |
| 2981s | players yeah and they they'll never |
| 2983s | forget it they'll never forget it I mean |
| 2985s | um know neither way you guys too because |
| 2986s | 2024 I'm sure have tons of these big |
| 2989s | moments too but it's been a superb 2023 |
| 2991s | thus far however 2023 isn't over just |

| 2995s | on on you can definitely kind keep tabs |
