Results are taken from Platform Cash Cup - PC (Wednesdays) and Solo Cash Cup (Thursdays). There were 16 events in total (8 weeks).
The main stats table on each sheet is ordered by a trimmed meanpoints, which is the arithmetic mean of the points the player got per event, ignoring their worst 1 or 2 performances. This is a simple and quite fair way of averaging performances. There’s also a “Top 5” in each category to the right of the main table.
The ordering should not be seen as an attempt at a definitive solo ability ranking. It’s more like a ranking of performances within these solo cups, so it’s a bit dependant on how many they played, how seriously they took it etc.
There’s a few things that I hope comes out of this work:
A mix of interesting stats for everyone to enjoy
Potential for top players to actually have a look at their own performance in different aspects of the game and see where they might improve
Help to highlight new talent and get these players the respect they deserve
If you’re looking for possible new squad members that are around your ability this might be a good resource
There’s far too much to comment on results-wise, so here’s just a few quick takeaways from each region
EU
Aqua didn’t play all cups, but lays a good claim for best player with a clear lead in mean points. Game placement is good, and he’s top of the elims per game
Benjyfishy is king of the total cup placements with great all-round performance
Marzz_Ow has amazing game placement, playing from NA. Also see below
NAE
Marzz_Ow is the leader, despite the relatively low elims. He has the best placement ability in the region
UnknownxArmy1x frags out, but dies a lot mid-game as a result
Khanada has 3 wins from his well-rounded games, tied for the most in any region
NAW
*Top 6 players are barely separable
- Rеhx., Thomuss_, NRG EpikWhale a bit better at winning games and Wavyjаcob strong on elims
OCE
RepulseGod the clear winner here
Volx great but inconsistent, with 3 wins balanced by other poorer results
Most of the rest of the internationally-known players at the top - zoreh, mrfreshasian, worthy, Jynx, jahlyn
BR
- SNG king tops the list, leading the elims categories and backing that up with great placement. EDIT: To correct mistake that it's not the same King of World Cup fame.
ASIA
- Riddle Bob_xd leads the pack, and appears to very well-rounded across the board.
ME
- POWER have all the best players with Rv and 7MOOD dominating
