How can this bug be reproduced: It happens when I try to launch Fortnite after today's update. I don't know what causes it, but I've seen reports of this happening to others as well.

Windows 7 (please don't judge, it's temporary), however people are saying it's related to EAC.
Yep, but it's because you're on Win7. Hoping to have a fix out within an hour or two.
Soooo, is a fix still being worked on? It's day 3 & there's still no status. I'm not trying to sound impatient but I just wanna know if it will be fixed anytime soon?
Yes, we are actively still working on a fix and I'm sorry that you're having this issue. We thought the patch we pushed this morning was the correct fix, but it didn't appear to fully solve it for Win7 users.
Any new news? Just glad I wasn't going to be attempting FNCS, otherwise I would be flipping out.
We just pushed a patch a few minutes ago, this should have fixed it - it did in our internal tests. If not, let me know and we'll keep at it.
