My best guess is that this bug is caused by an edit on a build actually being an "old" build being replaced by a "new" build server-side. When I shoot the builds the damage is dealt to the "old" build (before it was edited) but doesn't reach the server until after it's already been deleted and replaced by the "new" (edited) build.

Another issue caused by this bug is if a player edits open a build where your shot would not hit the build during the timeframe the invincibility bug applies, even if your crosshair is directly over the opponents face they will take no damage and your shot will blank. It totally negates damage done by your shots.

This bug can be shown in a more dramatic fashion in this fast editor's video. He is able to prevent a wooden cone that is at 1hp from breaking through AR spray.

Did you report this in-game? The last report we have from your account is in April and was in Creative Mode.

I'm not sure how a bug like this would work with in game reporting. Right now the functionality is just sending a screenshot from what I can tell and there's no way for me to submit a text explanation of the bug.

In this situation if I reported in-game would you not just get a lot of screenshots from me sitting in the lobby after I had died to it?

Both of the clips used in the video in the post are quite old so it's possible there was a report from then about it.

The screenshot is less important. When you send a bug report in-game, you also automatically send your game logs from your current session to us. That's the most important part of identifying the issue. We'll take a look at your reports but it seems like they happened on April 1st and April 11th. We'll start there and see if there's something we can find.

But that's why we ask for Account IDs when people report bugs. We need to track the report to the person and the context. The game logs have all the information we need, but we rely on the reporting done in-game to obtain the logs.

Clip related to new bug report. Different account so the Epic ID is 8160deda85014c6cadc0f0a04118facb

You should see the report is from today a few minutes ago now.

Sounds good. We'll review the logs in tandem with the video
