Hey /u/Oh_Dreaded_Dawn we're investigating Midas' Touch not properly gold-ifying everything, and are tracking this issue on our Trello board here.
As others said, changing seats or dropping and re-equipping the weapon gives it the golden look.
I don't know if community management devs read replies, but just in case....
Midas' arm tattoos are slightly blurry compared to his neck tattoos. It's like a 720p vs 480p difference. The blur is usually noticable while ADSing or using 3rd person view to zoom in.
It'd be cool if this issue gets added to the trello board for fixing.
