Thanks for the report. This is a bug we're aware of and looking into.
I dont want to bother you like this, but there has been a bug with the star power emote since I think season 5. The rainbow used to fade away but ever since season 5 it just disappears instantly.
I did some digging for you, u/RedRobinzz, and it looks like this was an intended change.
