I have been playing ALOT of Team Rumble and it's way too short. I gather 1000 mats each. Upgrade my shotgun and smg to max. Play for about 5-10 minutes then it's over. It's really fun and addicting, but constantly having to restart and farm these mats again and again for a really short game is just annoying.

I think they should bump it up to 150 or 200 kills or give us the option for all three, I don't mind the farming but the game ALWAYS ends when we're just scratching the surface. It reminds me of speed dating with super models who are in love with you and right before you get their number the time is up and you have a new model.

I have yet to meet another player who disagrees with this opinion so tell me what you peeps think.

150/200 elims will increase the chances of the game becoming lopsided and stretching on too long - we saw that during the couple weeks we ran it at 150.

We are going to make a handful of updates to the mode in 12.0 though, I can see about giving everyone a few hundred mats @ match start so you can get into the action more quickly.

Everyone loved the way it was during those weeks, a few people complained but it was in the end of season 9 when team rumble lobbies ended with sometimes 4 players per team, because people went crazy to get 100 fortbytes and the season challenges, people used to immediately leave the match after doing a couple fortbytes or other challenges, so please take this into consideration.

Preventing people from being able to continually join, do a challenge, quit and join another game for the weeklies would probably help too.

I think you would lose those cool moments where you got the last kill for the win, or it’s 99-99 and everyone is trying to get the last shot in.

We are talking about doing 25 siphon to health only, to give you a little bump per elim. Not sure if it’ll ship yet or not.

MM is much looser than core modes, but I’ll take a look at it.

Some of the best games I've had in TR (this season) are on the edges of the map where the terrain is more unusual. I really feel the nature of TR lends itself to these places far more than the BR modes. It's also a fun way to getting to play in areas of the map that are far less often visited but are really interesting in their design. Don't know how that gets incorporated into the current spawn mechanism but it's something I'd love to see given a bit of thought.

The problem I have when I drop into team rumble is that the good games seem not to last long enough. I understand the issue with the higher kill count (especially on the old map where people could loot quicker and get to circle quicker) that some games would drag (especially the 200 kill games when half the lobby left!!). However the best games are the ones where a bit of individual rivalry builds and the speed that current TR feels as though it finishes in (accepting this is subjective), they rarely have chance to really become as enjoyable as they could.

It’s a fine line either way, but I’ll check the stats and make sure average match length isn’t too short.

@charlie Can you let me know what region you are in and in fact exactly how long your wait times are (time it). One of our programmers would like to investigate, as MAX wait time should be 2 minutes. If you could send us logs, that would be ideal.

I think it's more likely that we will add join in progress to the mode to solve this problem. 150 would be a lot more feasible if the lobby remained full.

It would work more like COD where the first match you join might be join in progress but if you stay on you will be in fresh matches from there.

Generally we don't want rumble to have vaulted items in it, but I wouldn't be surprised if the grappler comes back some day... such a fun item.
