26s | symmetrical epic whale and Leno once |
29s | again they're landing at loot Lake which |
30s | is gonna be a big surprise for a lot of |
32s | people because this week's not retail |
34s | row hot spot what do you thing about |
35s | that Zeke uh yeah man this is a very |
38s | unique drop coming from this trio you |
41s | know we're very well aware that retail |
44s | is is where people like to go you know |
46s | it can very much energize your early |
48s | game heading into mid game there but |
50s | this trio coming out of any west or like |
52s | you know what we're going to loot Lake |
53s | what's crazy here is this completely |
55s | uncontested we saw some metrical end |
58s | Westside factories well here is gonna |
60s | land on the east side which is basically |
62s | that Watchtower area and then north side |
64s | of loot Lake the modern house we're |
67s | gonna see Leno and starting the game |
68s | he's gonna start with a gold pop go |
71s | excuse me a gold tackle shotgun yeah and |
75s | this is uh this is a pretty strong |
76s | loadout like you said for early game but |
78s | like for them it's uncontested and I |
80s | would say a big part of the map being so |
83s | uncontested especially in these open |
84s | qualification formats is because they're |
86s | stronger landing points so if I'm gonna |
88s | pull a first-place out of somewhat of a |
91s | non meta landing area it shows that it's |
94s | all about playing smart and and making |
96s | it through your early games that's |
97s | exactly what they're gonna do here |
98s | they're gonna set up |
99s | so in today's bar review we'll be |
101s | jumping you know pivotal moments and |
103s | early game is extremely pivotal you can |
105s | see that they also don't waste any time |
107s | they take a nice wide spread here |
109s | symmetrical landing factories making |
111s | sure that he's gonna cap out on loot and |
113s | one of the big things about loot Lake is |
115s | that rift to go you can always use that |
117s | rift to get anywhere on the map from |
119s | here out so they basically get first I |
121s | would say two three zones for free yeah |
123s | and I mean they're maximizing their |
125s | efficiency around Blue Lake right even |
128s | taking a look at epic well right now he |
130s | has four half shield so he's basically |
132s | gonna guarantee that his team is top |
134s | symetrical is the only one that would |
136s | need it because Leno is already there |
137s | but I mean just to think about like how |
140s | crazy it is to land uncontested at loot |
143s | Lake I mean you met you brought it |
145s | brought it up that that middle rifts |
147s | that Riz zone that people can use to |
148s | navigate away from this which they are |
151s | gonna use they're gonna use it to go a |
153s | little bit toward dusty in just a moment |
155s | but like I couldn't have asked for like |
159s | a much better starting you know what I |
160s | mean yeah yeah when you have a free |
163s | rotation to anywhere on the map that |
164s | means that the entire map is your |
166s | playground you will be able to kind of |
167s | get to any point so that you get first |
170s | dibs on big mountains first dibs on |
172s | third parties first dibs on you know |
174s | beating the storm surge per say a lot of |
176s | these players put this into their play |
179s | style so when it comes down to how they |
180s | rotate and where they go you know next |
183s | so in this specific example here |
185s | symmetrical and crew they're going |
187s | straight for the divot so they've |
188s | already pretty much capped out on metal |
190s | looks like this rotation here is so that |
192s | they can go for more loot and pick up |
194s | the scraps right because again it's all |
196s | about having as much gear as you can you |
199s | want to put the shots down you've got to |
201s | have that ammunition that's right and |
203s | and their early game was pretty much |
204s | largely uncontested so what we're gonna |
206s | do is we're gonna skip forward in time |
208s | and see how things are going right now |
210s | they are near pressure plant that word |
213s | is so hard to say here in storm circle |
215s | to the storm is starting to move so now |
217s | they have to kind of identify where |
219s | they're gonna kind of bolster up their |
220s | defenses I like what they do here they |
223s | are gonna start moving up and just kind |
224s | of camp out on top of the volcano it's a |
226s | great view of basically the entire left |
229s | half of pressure plant there is another |
232s | team contesting that's kind of what |
233s | they're pinging out those you see those |
234s | markers coming out they don't want to |
236s | take these fights though I mean like |
238s | looking at the load out that symmetrical |
239s | has like they could very well engage |
242s | these guys right but I like that they're |
244s | they're deciding that this isn't the |
246s | fight for them they want to play for |
247s | late-game and that's kind of what |
248s | they're gonna show us here as we kind of |
250s | move out through this replay but you |
252s | know what more importantly to that |
254s | entire rotation the initial rotation |
256s | they're only just now using materials so |
259s | they had free rein of rotate and that's |
261s | one of the perks like we said of having |
263s | the rift to get to you know the early |
265s | places first |
266s | they went to divot so they had |
267s | they were able to tap out of materials |
270s | and they had the next dip on the first |
272s | rotations to the next zone so here they |
273s | are outside the volcano and again |
275s | they're near max material yes they are |
278s | setting up a little bit of a tactic here |
280s | you guys will see coming up here it is |
282s | this grenade chuck right here was |
283s | discovered recently in the community |
285s | what you do is you split the grenades |
286s | and you have a perfect 70 meter explode |
289s | Raney a radius which is undefendable so |
292s | you see right there they're setting up |
293s | procedures and they may not walk away |
296s | with any tags or anything here but it's |
298s | still these these setups that allow them |
301s | to find success throughout their games |
302s | and of course that rotating for free |
304s | means that they can set up again huge |
306s | bases moving forwards yeah I mean they |
309s | didn't get anything out of that splode |
311s | tactic it's a great tactic but in the |
313s | end like we see some of that being |
314s | reinforced with brick and some of it |
316s | earlier on was reinforced with metal so |
318s | you're trading a few grenades for put |
320s | like a pretty good chance at |
321s | eliminations and if even if you don't |
323s | get them you're trading out a bunch of |
324s | that enemies materials they also there's |
327s | no way they want to push them now like |
329s | look at them they're there on the open |
330s | they're just jumping they're not |
331s | building and that's because they |
333s | basically a stamp established their |
334s | dominance saying look we are that we are |
336s | the stronger team right now so if you'd |
337s | like to take this fight we're ready when |
339s | you are please shoot first yeah it's |
342s | exactly what they're doing specially |
343s | when they use that heavy sniper so |
344s | symmetrical put in you know a little bit |
346s | of damage down which Kent can gain a |
348s | great you can gain the attention of your |
349s | opponents but you also gain the peak |
351s | respect so a lot of people are gonna be |
352s | very cautious when they decide to turn |
355s | back and fire and they're doing it again |
356s | right here they're just getting those |
358s | free rotations moving across just really |
361s | using the natural terrain here to stay |
363s | out of the line of fire and now that you |
365s | know there is some threat here they're |
367s | gonna collapse on top of one another |
368s | they're looking to siege up on their |
369s | next opponent these are great early |
372s | rotates guys if you're looking to learn |
373s | how to rotate this is what these reviews |
375s | are for you really want to focus on how |
377s | teams maneuver the map and they do a |
379s | perfect job of conserving material and |
382s | not wasting not wasting any time are |
384s | waiting till last minute to set up |
385s | sieges and even just the formation right |
388s | how they're moving Leno being at the |
389s | back you know he's got that infantry |
392s | rifle that he can used to put down shots |
393s | he even has the minigun to kind of help |
395s | his teammates he even they even had |
397s | leftover grenades right so they could |
399s | they could push on this team now there |
401s | not gonna get any eliminations out of it |
402s | but there again it's just more about |
404s | like establishing themselves and letting |
405s | the lobby know like look we are the ones |
407s | dictating what you can and can't do |
409s | right now if you'd like to see this one |
411s | I'll go ahead this one know that yeah |
413s | this one was actually very important so |
414s | that early rotate allowed them to get |
416s | right on top of opponent and he actually |
418s | hits a crucial heavy sniper this is that |
420s | this is a huge this is actually a huge |
422s | pickup because look they're gonna be |
423s | able to replenish all their loot and |
425s | more importantly they don't even get |
426s | greedy here they drop the player get get |
429s | one elem just one and say you know what |
431s | that's enough for them because now they |
433s | recap out on gear center map and they |
436s | just have controlled this area and the |
438s | other team they left them they left |
439s | those teammates just kind of - like you |
441s | know scatter off and now they just have |
443s | a strong spot in the middle but it's not |
445s | getting greedy right because they know |
446s | they're in the middle of the map there's |
448s | a lot of players are gonna be looking if |
449s | they make any more you know bring any |
452s | more attention to themselves that's how |
453s | you get a server to collapse on you so |
455s | even the patience here is uh is really |
457s | showing on this trio yeah and there is |
459s | that that brute very close by that is |
462s | probably gonna be drawing a little more |
464s | aggro just just a little bit but at the |
466s | same time like them just understanding |
468s | kind of how to move how to basically |
470s | just disappear into the shadows when |
471s | they need to is really good for them and |
474s | even here right like they're they have |
476s | this angle down on top of the lobby |
478s | which is gonna help them a lot because |
480s | again it's just about trying to dictate |
482s | the pace right if you can tell someone |
484s | look you know I want to take this fight |
485s | or we're not taking this fight or |
487s | basically you could just sit in your box |
488s | because if you peek we will drop the |
490s | elimination on your face you're gonna |
493s | basically tell the entire lobby how to |
495s | play your game right because if you're |
497s | on the other end it's like well I want |
499s | to move or like man we should kind of do |
501s | these things and you're like I can't |
502s | because this enemy trio is they have the |
504s | beat on us if we try to do anything |
506s | they're ready to pounce so they're |
508s | they're really good at kind of telling |
510s | the entire Lobby what and how basically |
513s | this this game is gonna be played out |
514s | the circle now is gonna move a little |
517s | bit west of them it's not that far away |
519s | though they kind of have a launch pad |
520s | they have some you resources but I don't |
523s | know I feel like they're so well |
524s | established even now in the game I mean |
526s | 54 players still left in the lobby and |
529s | they don't by the way they're moving it |
531s | they don't look scared at all no they're |
533s | not they're absolutely not |
534s | oh this |
535s | this is another important rotate here so |
537s | it only took them about a minute to |
538s | decide you know what we're gonna hit our |
539s | early rotation this is one thing that |
541s | trios make huge mistakes on they wait |
544s | until last moment until the storms |
545s | moving to get a really capitalized on |
552s | timing these rotations here so watch |
554s | that they go nice and early to even have |
556s | 20 seconds to spare to make it to the |
557s | next zone and then there that means that |
559s | they have a fool at least minute to |
561s | fight until the next zone pressures the |
562s | mouth so that's how they get to this |
564s | next location nice and early and some |
566s | that you're gonna notice coming up is |
568s | the way they focus teamfights I don't |
570s | think I've ever done a Vadra view like |
571s | this before where I see a squad actually |
574s | focus one layer up teams so most of the |
577s | time teams that are in the low ground |
579s | are fighting you know left to right |
580s | right they're just fighting their |
582s | circumference on the bottom layers they |
583s | don't ever pay too much focus on the |
585s | high ground teams this team specifically |
587s | will focus squads that are above them |
589s | that's gonna come shortly and you guys |
592s | are gonna see how important that is |
593s | because it allows them to set up these |
594s | really great rotates and that's what I |
597s | think they shined in this week on the |
599s | rod yeah I mean what's cool about that |
603s | as well and it's like a lot of people |
605s | don't really the first instinct is who |
609s | is on my lair who is to my left who is |
611s | to my right Who am I gonna have to flow |
613s | if you're trying to push up or down |
615s | you're gonna catch a lot of people |
617s | off-guard and I mean that's not this |
620s | tactic isn't always like the right thing |
622s | to do sometimes you do not want to do |
624s | that but what I like about this trio |
626s | specifically is they know when to do |
627s | that even right here right they pick up |
628s | hunter and they just you know for it cuz |
630s | like look at these guys he had no idea |
632s | they they literally were unsuspecting |
634s | the moment they come around they're like |
635s | okay you've caught us completely |
637s | off-guard what are we supposed to do |
639s | here they even try to go for the shield |
641s | bubble which just doesn't pan out right |
643s | like they've already pushed in your box |
644s | they've already in your face there's not |
646s | much you can do at that point to it's |
648s | like in you reacting and dropping the |
650s | shield bubble it's basically giving them |
652s | more like it's giving them the |
653s | information they want like these guys |
655s | are scared they're so scared they're |
656s | trying to pop a shield bubble they don't |
658s | realize we're actually on top of them |
660s | they've basically wasted an action and |
662s | this gives them even more confidence |
664s | even more fuel to keep moving forward |
665s | yep and that's exactly what I was |
667s | talking about so they |
669s | focus the team one layer up they pick a |
671s | player up and they only get two of them |
673s | and they let the third one go again just |
675s | exercise in patience which we saw in the |
677s | previous fight they got one big you know |
679s | one big elem it helped them cap off |
681s | materials and then they chilled here |
683s | they catch to the other person escapes |
685s | and they say you know what we're not |
685s | gonna get greedy we've already taken |
687s | your your lair right this is our spot |
689s | now and they get all this loot umm so |
692s | now the zones gonna reveal itself you |
693s | have a big rotation to make they set up |
695s | the perfect kind of low launch bed and |
697s | they've just been doing an excellent job |
700s | at getting to the next own first so |
702s | right here they get edge down they're |
704s | gonna chill and their next rotation once |
706s | again is gonna be for them to capitalize |
708s | on material so this is where they they |
710s | spend you know 20 seconds getting to the |
712s | zone and then one minute fighting again |
714s | that's how they pick up so many limbs |
715s | and just just again dictate the pace of |
718s | the battle here so now that they get to |
719s | the zone early they could just fire back |
721s | at any opponents and mini guns gonna |
723s | play a huge part in that yeah and even |
725s | like understanding kind of the layout of |
727s | where you're landing right because this |
729s | is this is an area with water right like |
732s | so you have to basically guarantee |
734s | certain amount of builds to tarp out |
736s | over the water if you don't you're at a |
739s | disadvantage so then getting here |
741s | earlier and being like okay cool like we |
743s | know we're gonna have we're gonna be |
744s | able to see every single person that |
746s | comes our way because they are forced to |
747s | build unless they want to sit there and |
749s | try and submarine their way to us and I |
751s | promise you no one wants to do that so |
753s | that's just gonna give them free rein |
755s | over the lobby free rein over shots and |
757s | they're just so well established so like |
759s | the next circle goes a little more |
761s | Northwest and this is where things are |
763s | gonna get a little bit dicey but again |
765s | they're in full control I mean more team |
767s | shots are gonna guarantee another |
768s | elimination but uh what you kind of |
771s | touched on earlier was like this control |
773s | right like I feel like a lot of a lot of |
775s | teams that are maybe beginning their |
778s | fortnight career they they tend to think |
779s | okay we pick up a person we just have to |
782s | go full scent and clean up the entirety |
784s | of that trio or duo or squad or whatever |
787s | that's not always the case right even |
789s | just getting one or two and just getting |
790s | what you need from it and then kind of |
791s | knowing when to back off is a skill in |
794s | its own and it is like what can |
797s | attribute to a lot of people being |
799s | successful heading into late-game |
801s | a hundred percent so |
802s | this right here is a prime example they |
804s | rotated early now they're set off on a |
806s | big base with high ground and they're |
808s | firing it everyone trying to land most |
811s | most players try to do the textbook wait |
813s | till the zone comes and then move not |
815s | these guys the best players will know |
817s | when to capitalize on early movement |
818s | that they can set up and be though you |
820s | know the person on offense instead of |
822s | defense so all of these players trying |
824s | to launch pad out is because they've |
825s | decided they're trying to get to the |
827s | zone when the zone is safe as opposed to |
830s | epic will leno and symmetrical here who |
832s | moved you know seconds earlier and then |
835s | set up and decide to tarp in instead of |
836s | using their mobility so this is why |
838s | they're able to at this point now |
840s | dominate all other players remember if |
842s | you have a minigun you have high ground |
843s | you're firing down really not even just |
845s | a minigun just any kind of pressure down |
847s | you're burning all of the crucial |
849s | materials from your opponent and you're |
851s | forcing them to use impulses or |
852s | shockwaves that they don't want to use |
854s | right normally people want to use shock |
856s | waves for high ground in this case |
857s | they're people are trying to shockwave |
858s | away from them because there's so much |
860s | pressure coming from the high ground now |
862s | and even if you don't what I like about |
865s | this - and some people don't think about |
868s | it but like even if you're firing |
869s | downward and in these people this enemy |
872s | tree or in their box and they're taking |
874s | shots from above above them someone's |
877s | trying to punch into their box from the |
878s | right of the left you're just causing |
880s | them to panic and like this is a great |
882s | example right you see they were firing |
883s | down on that tree oh and then eventually |
884s | they're like we do switch got a launch |
885s | pad |
886s | we're so like uneasy about everything |
889s | going on around us we don't have enough |
890s | information we just have to burn |
892s | something to try and get ourselves out |
894s | and then that's just information that |
895s | they're in taking they're like cool that |
897s | team's down a launch pad and we know |
899s | where they're going or like that team's |
900s | at a launch pad and now they're forced |
902s | to fight the team that we fought a shot |
904s | at before that that will thin itself out |
906s | and then we can clean up in a moment |
908s | like there's just so much so many layers |
909s | that kind of go into controlling the |
912s | lobby and dictating the pace of the game |
913s | and I feel like that's what this trio |
915s | does very very well and and what they're |
918s | doing well here although they hold in |
919s | the high ground on different layers so |
921s | they're getting a bunch of different |
923s | angles at the expense of their materials |
925s | but this is what happens when you are |
927s | dropping teams in the end game and |
929s | you're walking into endgame with max |
930s | materials they did this with no vehicle |
932s | you know no map this is straight up on |
934s | foot ground patrol and just |
936s | being very patient with their battles |
939s | they take a big Elam that allows them to |
940s | have max mass and this is why they're |
942s | able to park the entire endgame and they |
944s | all have their own layers they all use |
946s | their own layers in the endgame that's |
948s | why they have all these angles and |
949s | they're just cleaning up shop here in |
951s | the end with all the ammunition they |
954s | have you know kind of rounded up at this |
955s | point this is I wanted to say on this |
958s | specifically because we see symmetrical |
959s | goes out of the zone with the initial |
962s | shock wave but then gets himself back in |
964s | that in itself was very very slick I |
967s | like it because you kind of hear a |
968s | shockwave and you don't see any build |
971s | being destroyed and so initially you |
972s | think like that player is just gonna be |
974s | eliminated |
974s | nope symmetrical comes back in and now |
976s | there's gonna look to clean up the the |
978s | last elimination here there is a player |
980s | knock and this here is gonna be Vinnie |
982s | in the box now if we saw a little bit of |
984s | chugs flash come out before so we know |
986s | as effective HP is very low and |
987s | inevitably that's what leads them to the |
989s | victory royale so all in all men like |
992s | this trio is very very precise they're |
995s | very methodical and I just love seeing |
997s | their play yeah 100% they gave a really |
1000s | good running for edgy and his team |
1002s | taking away the first place to speak and |
1004s | that's that's the first time the the |
1006s | second place team I guess has been |
1007s | overthrown so that's gonna conclude our |
