30s first off Landing pressure plant is
33s something that I think is pretty
35s interesting and difficult because it's
36s changed a lot over little oh how are you
39s guys been landing pressure point
40s honestly ever since Trillo started
42s that's when we've started going there
44s and it's changed a lot the meta there
46s with the big robot and everything so
47s we've had to change our place sell a lot
49s and what are the main points of interest
52s that you have when you're landing here
54s I'm seeing you already farm and that
56s wood pallets for example is there a
58s couple points of contention that you're
59s really interested in grabbing yeah so
61s the main thing we need to focus on is
63s the pallets to get mats because you
65s really don't have a lot of mats besides
67s the pallets there and in early game
68s fights there's a lot of openings to get
70s shot in so you need to have a lot of
72s mats in this area and I notice also
74s you're contested and being very safe
76s without your oh you're rolling through
79s how doesn't that fights normally proceed
82s for you guys are you very comfortable
84s fighting here in pressure plan are you
86s always getting contested what's the deal
87s with early game at a pressure plant so
91s the reason we're always so cautious is
93s because this is a place where there's a
96s mountain surrounding you so you can
97s basically get ganked from anywhere just
99s get hit from anywhere so we usually get
101s contested by one three teams each game
104s will usually rarely have it uncontested
106s but yeah so it's really hard fighting
109s here that's why we have to perfect our
110s early game so much because it's the most
111s important part and are you really are
115s you worried at all about you know then
117s being able to get all these different
118s angles on you when you're all farming
120s down here by the actual little research
123s facilities yeah we're always looking
127s around making sure we always have see me
129s louder here inside of the
131s little turtle here and then we have the
133s polite bow that usually goes around and
135s tries to flank and try to see where they
136s are so we always have like a eye on the
139s sky busily okay so that's like a set
142s thing that you included down here and
143s throws out you know scouting and trying
146s to get sneak attacks huh yep basically
148s cool so this fight is definitely gonna
152s be proceeding but as we go on ask a
154s little bit about some of the things that
156s we're watching I think I've already seen
160s this game I know this was a very
161s important game for you guys I want to
163s talk for a second about the philosophy
165s that you guys have in the game plan you
166s have throughout the entire tournament
169s this was about the midway point are you
171s guys playing the same the entire time in
173s terms of you know the risks that you're
175s taking the opportunities for w key games
178s and all that yeah I think we just have
181s the same philosophy but we've been
183s changing it a little bit and we're going
185s for height a little bit less now just
186s cuz of how desired it is I guess there's
188s a lot of people going for it so we're
190s playing a little bit more cautious
191s playing mid ground now instead okay so
193s there's no stages of the tournament that
195s you guys changed around that's
197s interesting because I think a lot of
198s people are thinking about timing and how
201s to do it but you guys have been
202s consistent throughout just by playing a
206s single game plan I think that's cool so
209s this fight going really slow and you
212s don't have zone I'm gonna quickly open
214s the map just to show it for a second and
218s there's there's it's not that far retail
220s zone those in the zone as well and I
222s know you guys are somewhat interested if
224s sometimes going into retail and farming
226s a little bit extra mint
229s is this an issue for you guys if these
231s fights take a long time that you're
232s boxing down here in turtling like this
236s we try to get the fights over quickly or
239s we try to get them to leave so that's
240s why we turtle up here but if we are in
243s this position and we're stuffed on blue
244s we usually just go to try to W key and
246s stuff like that try to get the loop back
248s so we're not really too worried as long
249s as we survive we know we can get to
251s endgame
254s that shot was really nice there when
257s you're covering the back up I think
258s cloud it seems that you're playing kind
260s of the role of let other people go for
263s shots and while you make sure you cover
264s their flanks is that something that you
267s guys are actually thinking about you
269s play that role or it's kind of just like
272s subconscious now that usually they
274s usually go for shots and I just try to
275s support them yeah cuz it's three times
279s no I think you've gotten tags on
281s somebody to the side when they're
282s focused on one a clowder throw iphoto
284s they go for a high ground here and again
285s I think you're still down below and
288s keeping track of one player and keeping
289s him stuck here yep I think it was a two
294s people left I'm pretty sure so I just
296s wanted to us like single out the guy at
299s the bottom and let them tv1 the guy up
300s top I think it works out for you almost
304s even got another opportunity there I
306s like this style here and now even
311s leaving that guy and going to support
312s the wife Oh into his box cloud somewhere
316s else but I love the kind of slow pace
319s that you guys are going storm is
321s starting to move now and your loot is
324s definitely not just apparently go down
328s there your loot is not the greatest and
330s I think right there it was a perfect
332s example of like the staying together
336s like aspect of this whole fight how you
338s got to throw I throw there into the box
340s made it so that when he fully committed
342s the fight that guy who knocked you you
344s were able to take him out that's
345s something you guys are probably you guys
346s are very good at talk to me about the
349s comms in that moment when when you get
351s close to him when he finally starts to
352s commit to the fight he's kind of I think
355s deciding that oh we need to finish this
357s and there's one more guy now yes I knew
360s that there's an item there was cuz I
362s knew that the Wi-Fi was there so I had a
364s blue pump so I know it's gonna do a lot
365s of damage no matter what so I basically
367s just let him in and I knew this life
369s would finish them off but we always try
371s to make our fights in the box fights
373s because that's our strong suit so that's
376s the reason we're turtling so much and we
377s always try to stay together because we
379s if we're in a box late we most likely
380s won't lose so far so good one more guy
385s that you're finding and you easily find
389s out where this guy is I love it you
390s don't go for the shot there because he
392s knows exactly that you're up there
393s and you wait for you to you and you're
397s also 30 HP - so smart player mr. Dwight
400s or mr. snood yes sir and the finish cool
405s and now the situation is we talked a
407s little bit about the zone position but
409s you find a medkit you're fine here right
412s yep and then now we would probably try
416s to rotate into retail because we know we
417s Don the best lead ever best mobility so
420s we basically use retail because we know
423s where there's a lot of people that have
424s that land pressure so we try to go
427s retail to replenish the loot and
428s basically like counteract the long
430s fights that we have a pressure so is
432s this something you do every game or is
433s it loot dependent or a fight dependent
435s or how the early game went basically we
439s try to do it every game that we can but
441s if we don't have tone then we'll just
443s try to play that we have yeah and so
446s specifically in finals I think there's a
449s lot of teams right now that are
450s struggling with retail there's been I
453s think everybody has started to kind of
455s make their game plan either drop retail
458s or find somewhere that you could rotate
460s into retail you guys have been doing
462s this plan for a while now is it still
464s working have you seen any changes
465s between you know week two of F NCS
468s versus now the only change that I've
471s seen is just seeing more teams in retail
473s I guess everybody's catching on so we
475s have to be careful we usually don't try
476s to fight any teams in retail we try to
478s get maybe one or two pillars and then
479s dip oh okay so it's just about the
481s pillars just about you know getting back
483s up on loot if you need to and then the
486s other issue too is materials are kind of
488s hard to you know come by especially now
491s that there's so many toos you can't
492s spend that much time farming and as we
494s can see we have nineteen materials is
496s this an issue for you guys and how do
497s you address it I guess it yeah it is a
500s little bit of shoe but we just farm on
502s the way and then we we get our material
504s slowly back so we usually don't have to
505s worry about it that much
508s okay I'm gonna take another look at the
510s zone really quickly here ending down
513s towards actually the the mayhem zone
516s area and lucky landing and such we'll
518s see if that is actually the way it goes
520s you already know I've briefly scanned
523s this game a little bit but now there
526s it's hid in the retail is happening
527s you're probably gonna find a couple
528s pillars just like you said and then move
530s forward but snood you're somebody who I
533s think a lot of people you know you came
535s on their radar
536s early on in summer skirmishing and fall
538s skirmish but during a World Cup again
541s you came back on the radar cuz you were
542s so close to qualifying so many times and
545s now you finally done a qualification
548s here in FNC yes you still have to go
550s through all the other stages but in
551s these Open qualifier formats um has that
554s been difficult to adapt to that style
556s since you were so successful in the
558s early stages of custom tournaments the
560s summer skirmish the fall skirmish and
561s then all of a sudden the open qualifiers
563s came in you were just always barely
565s outside of that there's a halo
569s frustrating being outside just getting
572s close every time but I wasn't really too
573s worried about it because I feel like
575s customs create a bad habit for the open
578s qualifiers and you don't really want to
580s push a lot of teams your WP level team's
582s accustomed to they're all good players
583s yeah but in the open qualifiers you
585s never know who you're gonna run into so
587s we have to kind of change our play style
589s from customs to the open qualifiers and
593s I think just my play style in general
595s which is good for the open qualifiers
596s because I'm pretty aggressive person so
598s yeah I guess that's how I adapted to we
601s can definitely see based on all the
603s performances and now joining in with the
607s Tree of Life oh and and cloud cloud
610s obviously I think who is he was playing
612s with a couple different duo's throughout
615s World Cup and you've always been playing
617s with white foe how is it adding a new
619s player to the established do of you and
622s the wife Oh honestly it was it wasn't
626s bad it was really good cloud obviously
628s we know he's a good player so we're not
630s really worried about that he won't be
633s able to follow instructions or do
634s whatever I think we're we've really good
636s chemistry from me and wife oh and
639s we're friends with clouds so it just
641s fits perfectly I guess
645s yeah and that's something that I think a
648s lot of people are finding out you
650s obviously have swapped a couple of
652s members in your trio you were playing
654s with stretched I believe you're playing
656s with was the other guy that you're
658s playing with too
659s he swapped with booga and guys all the
661s time back in the staking season right
663s before reference yes but now settled on
665s cloud you guys are happy with this this
667s is going really well for you guys so
670s yeah but how do you how do you guys
672s build chemistry how do you keep
674s chemistry and and stay engaged in these
676s open qala form Open qualifier formats
678s which sometimes can you know cause a lot
680s of tension between people depending on
681s how you're playing hot at what do you
683s say to people who were like how do you
685s get such good chemistry I don't know I
689s feel like you just have to be friends
692s with your trio like honestly it's just
695s the the closer your relationship is with
696s them the more chemistry you have the
698s more you trust each other and like the
700s more you're forgiving I guess so there's
702s not really that much tension there when
703s we're playing yeah I think that's a key
706s point it's just be friends yeah hundred
710s percent that's awesome that's awesome
711s okay so getting back into a game a
713s little bit rotating in third zone
717s rotating in mid game in general is
718s something that probably a lot of people
720s struggle with in terms of fight
723s selection you saw you just got shot
725s there but none of you guys had any
727s inkling that you wanted to fight that
729s you guys knew you were focused on
731s positioning how do you balance you know
734s going for W keys or getting shot or
736s stopping people from pushing you versus
739s going for positioning so we always
742s prioritize positioning over everything
744s else no matter what because if you have
746s good positioning the kills and the stuff
748s will come so even if it seems I'm trying
751s to W chaos we do our best to get away
753s and let's we absolutely have to fight
754s but we usually go for the W keys late
757s game and we try to take walls and then
758s get our loot late game
759s okay at least later in the game mid-game
761s we find that of you w key you basically
764s are dead so is there any situation where
766s you where you go for eliminations like a
768s lot of other players do in this kind of
770s phase in the game say you you know ran
772s out of mats completely here is there any
774s situations like that which would call
775s for you guys to play a little bit more
777s aggressively or is it all passive all
779s the way through until in game I guess if
782s we get a knock usually playful carries
783s us night brain he's really good with it
784s so if we get a knock we'll definitely
786s push over or if we tag someone really
788s hard but that's that's about it we will
789s never push a trio that we haven't tagged
791s at all or anything like that because we
794s still have jump pads and stuff so we
797s just want to use all of our mobility
798s before we even think about defeating
801s cool so I think that's something that a
804s lot of players are gonna be interested
805s to hear at all is just play for endgame
809s over anything play for positioning over
813s anything until you really have no choice
815s but to do it use all your mobility and
817s get in zone okay now talk to me about
821s the position that you did go for right
823s here on the edge of zone this is third
825s zone you're not quite Center but at the
828s same time you know you have to again
830s balance whether you're fighting or
832s getting shot at or spending your
834s resources versus a center or more
837s centered zone yes so normally what we
840s try to do is we try to go more Center
841s but considering our matter now it isn't
843s the best we don't really want to spend a
845s lot of maths or HP going for center zone
847s and since we have a jump pad we'll just
849s we like to chill Adreno and then get the
851s next zone and try to get center next
852s zone okay so it's a it's a conscious
855s decision based on you know how much mats
857s you're willing to spend and in this case
859s you don't have much I know cloud and fly
861s flew at this point in the game probably
862s have around 100 builds left is is there
865s a reason why edge is you know more cheap
870s yeah I'd say because if we try to go
873s center we'll have a lot of teams
874s shooting at us so it will expend more HP
876s in maths and there's no no real reason
877s to expend those mats and we have
879s movement that's really in the game do
882s you find that you actually get chance to
884s recover materials on the side of zone as
886s well because I I've seen a lot like
888s people like mr. savage we'd love to play
890s edges own no matter what
893s up in a shamble situation with no
895s materials but they farm back up on the
897s way through and they actually end up not
898s fighting anybody which is County not
900s exactly what you would think would
901s happen yes so sometimes you just find a
904s lot of like trees and stuff on the edge
905s of the map that you can farm up so it's
908s really good it's just safer to be on the
909s edge if you're not if you don't have the
911s best loot or anything cool all right one
915s thing I see in your inventory that I
916s think we have to talk about since it was
918s just recently added in the game was the
919s the shield bubble I'm curious
923s you're already caring - maybe we can see
925s them pop off in the background over
927s there how do you want to use these to
931s make your rotates I'm not sure if cloud
932s had others as well but this is a very
934s smart way to use them is just to
936s continue rotating through and then you
938s barely get in and base up honestly we
943s always carry show levels no matter what
945s they're such a versatile item especially
947s for rotating if you're getting focused
948s it saves a lot of maths so I usually
951s just save them and if we're running out
954s of mats like this we'll use them to
955s rotate or I'm sure you've seen that you
958s can stick it to like bushes and dab
960s boards and you basically get free
962s rotates across the map yeah it's also
964s really good for if you're getting
965s sprayed at you just save all your mats
966s and we don't really have to spend the
969s little mats that we have trying to
970s rebuild their walls so there you have it
973s guys carry the shield bubbles they are
976s very very good so do you carry it over
978s ever everything what what is your ideal
981s utility here shock waves still the ideal
983s mobility or are you dropping shock waves
986s for the shell bubble definitely still
989s keep shock waves but we always make sure
991s that we have the show bubble if we if
993s it's on the ground then we'll pick it up
994s no matter what drop either like a extra
996s SMG yeah even like it even like a big
1000s pot or something sometimes cuz you'll
1001s save a big pot just by using it
1003s interesting so there's an aspect of you
1006s know trio's helping here where you can
1008s carry a bunch of stuff over all three of
1011s you so you could share that loadouts
1013s very interesting and now I also notice
1016s the power weapons back before you said
1018s the rifle always carries a sniper and I
1020s saw cloud had a have an RPG are you guys
1023s is that also a set item that
1026s this is gonna be the guy carrying or so
1030s usually Platteville carries the sniper a
1031s cloud carries dari PD okay cool and is
1034s that for any specific reason that you
1036s don't like or that cloud carries the RPG
1037s is it just better is he good at it yeah
1041s I just don't want to blow myself up Amen
1047s I'm the same way I don't know how many
1048s times I shot myself out of my way okay
1053s so looking for the next zone right here
1055s it's half a knife outfit zone and you
1058s guys are definitely going to be
1059s launching here I'd guess yeah it's a
1063s really far zone so yeah private luncheon
1065s so it's based on the distance that
1067s you're making that decision right yep
1070s and also what the mountains around - if
1072s we're going down a hill we probably
1073s wouldn't launch pad yeah we probably
1075s shockwave because we'll go farther and
1077s if we jump pad down I won't be able to
1078s dive the length plus the aspect of
1086s staying all together which is something
1088s that I think well it's definitely
1090s undervalued at the beginning of trails
1092s but people are starting to learn exactly
1093s how to rotate together and this is what
1097s you're talking about so the end game is
1098s started for you guys and you want to go
1100s for high eliminations as best you can
1103s exactly yeah we like to exploit the I
1105s guess the new wall ticking mm-hmm that
1109s we can take anybody's walls now so we
1111s usually just try to borrow place
1112s late-game and get our loot back and
1113s that's exactly we did okay do you have a
1115s dedicated wall replacer usually cloud
1120s will hold the wall and will break but I
1124s think with the new it's like a coin flip
1127s I guess is what they said or is random
1129s without taking yeah we'll have two
1132s people hold in one break this time so we
1133s have like
1137s very cool very cool
1139s okay there's a good use so you netted
1141s yourself two eliminations already
1143s through that wall taking method
1145s especially cuz the team that was
1147s fighting it was ill positioned there was
1148s one guy in front of the stairs one guy
1149s behind it and then as soon as that
1152s minigun comes out you build a little bit
1153s and shield bubble I think that's
1154s something that people are starting to
1157s realize is this is exactly the perfect
1160s use for you are completely safe from any
1163s of that spam you know the a lot of
1166s people struggle with this oh when I get
1167s endgame I just get spammed by the entire
1169s server in this case it could have
1171s happened but the shield bubble
1172s immediately stops that okay so I noticed
1179s you're being pretty slow with how you're
1181s approaching fight so you really focused
1183s on rotating and you're gonna use a short
1185s launch to get down far I'm just watchin
1189s HP because that's a very scary situation
1191s they're gliding and getting shot at
1197s but we said that this is the moment that
1199s you are going for a lot of eliminations
1202s and again we've seen that you're a
1204s little bit more cautious and slow in
1207s terms of making sure that your teammates
1209s are near you and you're supporting your
1210s teammates making sure they're covered
1212s and so on but how do you flip the switch
1215s so far it's been rotation that you guys
1217s are focused on and you haven't really
1219s gone for tons of eliminations obviously
1221s we're watching my fall right there peek
1222s through windows we saw you go for a
1224s window peek but yeah when is that switch
1226s and how do you find these opportunities
1229s so usually we'll try to eliminate ends
1233s if we just see like a perfect water
1234s pacing moment I guess but like I said a
1238s rotation is definitely the number one
1241s priority so we don't really force
1242s eliminations unless we can get them we
1250s really force any eliminations there got
1252s it
1253s so only anything basically only things
1255s that are guaranteed oh no Kyle just got
1257s it it down and Dwight was right there
1260s behind you guys it's both that you guys
1262s went down through the Edit but the rival
1265s just gets right in and that's really
1267s good friend everybody of you guys were
1269s shooting then I was probably a mistake
1270s by the other team not to be all there
1272s together okay now it's just you and
1278s thrive on the old duo there's 15 guys
1281s left you're holding and I think this old
1285s okay so that was a perfect play do you
1288s guys get high ground up this high ground
1292s and probably the wind from here and I
1295s noticed that as soon as a shock wave
1296s came out you boxed up right above you so
1298s don't get any tags okay from here on out
1302s you guys have been in this situation so
1304s many times just walk me through what you
1307s guys are thinking so right now we have
1310s the high ground and this is basically
1311s when like you say we flip on the switch
1313s this is where we go for all of our
1315s elimination
1315s I assume yep because now we don't have
1321s to worry about anything else so we just
1322s spray down and just try to take all the
1324s eliminations from the other people life
1330s was all the way down low granny actually
1332s got one already and then you've launched
1335s down to regroup with him because he's
1337s maybe under too much pressure there's
1339s too many people here
1339s yeah I also don't want to waste a lot of
1341s Matt's getting down just in case I had
1343s to go up the hill okay and now it's just
1346s one guy remaining it should be pretty
1349s easy pickings for you and there you have
