With this week’s v19.30 update, we’ve removed the initial game screen (which appeared on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC) where players would select either Save the World, Battle Royale, or Creative. You’ll now boot up directly into the Lobby, ready to join the party and explore Fortnite!

What does this mean for Save the World and Creative? You can now find both modes via the “Discover” screen, accessible by clicking on the “CHANGE” button above “PLAY!” Read below for more info.

Save the World

Q: Where can I find Save the World in Discover?

A: Save the World can now be found in the “By Epic” row of the Discover screen, alongside options like Squads, Impostors, the Creative Hub, and Battle Lab. If you’ve played Save the World recently, the mode will also appear in the “Recently Played” section of the “My Library” tab. You can additionally favorite it for easy access. (Favorites show up in the “My Favorites” section of “My Library.”)

Q: Can I purchase Save the World in Discover?

A: Yes! To begin the purchase process, select the Save the World tile in the Discover menu. From there, it will lead you to the store where you can purchase the latest Save the World Starter Pack that will grant you access to Save the World.

Creative

Q: Where can I find the Creative Hub in Discover?

A: The Creative playlist (which leads to the Creative Hub) can now be found in the Discover menu in the “By Epic” row. It can also be found in the “Recently Played” section if applicable and your “My Favorites” section if you choose to add it there for easier access.

Happy playing!
