[2021] I wish they would fix things 😔

Hey folks, noticed an increase in comments about performance mode. I just want to clarify a few things about performance mode on the PC.

1. Performance mode is only available on PC and works with BR and Creative.
2. The Android and Switch versions of the game already run the game in a similar fashion to performance mode.

Performance mode was designed to help lower-end PCs run Fortnite with specific system settings. With this in goal, you could say in very basic terms that, performance mode, from the visual and texture side, is the Android/Switch version of the game on PC.

The visual reductions and other aspects of performance mode are already taken into consideration when it comes to the Android and Switch versions of Fortnite. This is why many of the cosmetics on those versions can have physic issues or while in-game your draw distance (the distance you can see) is reduced similar to performance mode.

TLDR: Perf mode specifically is not coming to Fortnite on Android or Switch, as they are already running the game with lower visuals on. We'll continue to monitor performance based on our data your (player) feedback.
