It's there in BR but it just disappears once I get in the Lego mode, both in the lobby and in game. Cool mode but this basic feature should be included from day 1
Also, the respawn option doesn't do anything.

Good news, the team are working on the HUD Layout tool and this will be coming to LEGO Fortnite in the future!
For your second point about the Respawn button - that is game-wide and not specific to mobile. We are working on a fix for it at the moment.
