Thank you guys for putting time and effort into resolving performance for Mac, which I'm sure represents a small minority of players! Performance took a dive on my 2013 mac pro back in patch 8.3. The recent patch seems to have made a major improvement to in-game performance. The lag when looking toward player built structures is nearly gone. FPS performance is much better. I haven't had the game totally freeze in the past several days, which is awesome.

I am still having the game crash about every 2-3 rounds. My graphics are not on 'low' settings. The most recent one happened immediately after getting eliminated and trying to return to lobby.

Any recommendations for settings or things I can do? Thanks!

Hey there! Mind sending me over your in-game username? If this happens again can you please report the issue using the in-game feedback button in the options menu? I'll send this off the the QA team, thanks!

Thanks for chiming in! IGN is M0uth_Breather. I have previously sent a couple reports through in-game feedback. Should I continue to do so each time it crashes? What specific information would be helpful for you guys in those reports? Also, I do get the crash dialog and always choose to send the report. Is one method of reporting better than another?

Thanks a bunch, I've sent this off to the QA team for further investigation. I'd say if you continue to see crashes to report it, including what happened when you crash. If you get the Crash Reporter after crashing that is usually the best way. In-game is more-so for bugs and other issues that aren't crashes.

So if you do get the Crash Report, I'd say use that instead. :)
