We're looking into this issue. It sometimes appears when your region is set to Auto. Jumping into a game usually will fix it for the next time you return to lobby. Alternatively, you can try setting your region manually to the one you'd like to play in.
I tried that. All servers say 9999 ms
They will say 9999ms but choosing a region and playing one game and backing out to the lobby has fixed this for other players, including myself. We're still going to resolve the issue in another update.
You guys ever gonna fix the in game ping counter, or is it just a UE4 related thing that you can’t do anything about?
The fix should get rid of the 9999ms counter too.
