[2021] Split screen disabled, really?!

There was a workaround, a bit annoying but still workable. And yet you’ve disabled the sole mode in which my household plays the game.

Since I couldn’t submit a decent bug report because in-game reporting is limited to a screenshot, and I couldn’t post here because I was a Reddit newb, I’ll give you our experience here.

This bug triggers only when rematching within the game. Second player isn’t tied directly to the party leader and that player’s ready-up action. Attempting to rematch results in “waiting for player 2 to ready up” when player 2 does not have that ability in split screen mode. After attempting to rematch within game, players cannot return to the lobby and successfully rematch. The erroneous flag in player 2’s data is persistent in that case. Only a close and restart will rectify the situation and allow a successful match.

Returning to the lobby BEFORE rematching works around whatever flag is being allowed to go out of sync.

You’ve just locked me out of the last 2 weeks of this season. I don’t have a PC capable of playing (we tried when we encountered this bug.) Our console (PS4) is how we play.
