[2022] Are Mining Bots against TOS

I know in the game's TOS it is against the rules to modify game files, but is it against the rules to use a bot that has been trained based on visual information from the game instead? In this specific case it would not be used for fighting, but rather to automate salvage gathering. I want to know before I put a bunch of effort into figuring out how to get it to work.
