Quick idea, but..... Remove the generic zone forts. Allow FoBs to determine zone control along with TH's. Add in point of interest forts that look cool and inform players of lore, like caves or old castles, in specific zones where it makes sense (not every zone needs a pre-places control element). Zones with control elements from multiple factions will be striped blue/green (or solid red) to show it's a high conflict zone.
