[2019] Year 2 Update from the Ghost Recon Wildlands Studio

Hi Ghosts,

The Ghost Recon Wildlands Studio here. We wanted to reach out to you since the release of our latest update, Special Operation 2.

First of all, we have loved seeing all of your amazing responses to our recently released content, such as Ghost Mode, Observer Mode and Mission Archangel. Seeing your excitement for this new content is what keeps up going, and we cant wait to surprise you in the future with everything else we have in store for you.

But we have also seen some disappointment within our community, mostly due to certain bugs hampering your experience. For this, we sincerely apologize. We truly thank you for your ongoing investment in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and for reaching out to us to share your feedback. We wanted to let you know that we are listening, and that we are actively investigating the bugs you have flagged to us.


HOTFIX

We have released a hotfix already on PC, and will release it on consoles on August 6th. Further details on this hotfix can be found here: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1914455


FUTURE UPDATES

You shared feedback that you want more visibility on what we are working on, so here is a roadmap of our next updates over the coming months.



As you can see, our next update, Operations & Maintenance, is dropping in late September. This update will focus on addressing bugs flagged to us by our community. We will share more details closer to the time on the exact content of this update. In the meantime, we are currently reworking our Known Issues page and will share it with you as soon as possible.

Special Operation 3 will arrive in December. This update, as with our previous Special Operation updates, will include PVE and PVP content, a special theme with a free PVE mission, and community-requested features.

Special Operation 4 will drop early 2019.


FURTHER UPDATES

We have also seen your comments on the contents of our Year 2 Pass, and wanted to let you know that we are currently exploring how we can improve its value for you. More to come by the release of our O&M Update.

We're aware of an issue where in Ghost Mode when you achieve a goal, prestige points aren't received. We recommend restarting the game in this case. We are also looking into the issue with the missing 300 Prestige credits if you advance in tier mode.

It has been reported and it's being looked into but thank you for reporting it!
