[2023] Wizard's Vault Objectives Updates: Valdhertz Crypts and Daily Objective Choices

Hi all, I want to share a couple of updates we have planned for daily objectives in the Wizard's Vault. A number of you had a frustrating experience over the weekend with Valdhertz Crypts as part of your daily objectives list. We are working on an update that will remove the Valdhertz objective from the Wizard's Vault objectives rotation. That update will come tomorrow, August 29. When this goes live it will reset the PvE daily objectives--meaning that your existing PvE choices will change. If you've already completed your dailies at this point you will be able to do a second round for more Astral Acclaim. (You will not be able to claim a second bonus chest.) Here's a quick outline of how this will affect you, depending on your game mode choices for the day: If you selected only PvP and/or WvW objectives for the day, this will not affect you at all. If you selected a combination of PvP/WvW and PvE objectives, your PvE dailies will change, but not the others. If you selected PvE only for the day, all of your objectives will be replaced with new ones. You will not be able to re-select your game modes for the daily until normal reset time. I also want to reiterate that we are continuing to read and discuss all of your feedback. With that in mind, we are planning to adjust the number of Wizard's Vault daily objectives. Our current plan is to add another objective without raising the number required for "completing" your daily. So you'll still need to complete four objectives, but you'll have another choice to the list in order to give you additional flexibility. This will be part of the September 12 game update mentioned in the post last week. We'll continue to evaluate feedback both now and then. Thank you all for continuing to share your feedback!
