I donated to Joe Kimmes' Extra Life goal last year and claimed one of the reward/incentives for doing so - an animal of your choice to be put into the game (visible via under the effects of the Chatoyant Lens year-round or Chatoyant Elixir during april fools). I, of course, opted to put my beloved cat Sesame into the game, but didn't specify where. My friends and I spent probably about 2 hours looking everywhere in Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach and then finally in Hoelbrak. Which honestly is pretty accurate to how difficult it is to find her irl sometimes.
She was at last found in the Tailoring station area in Hoelbrak, in front of 2 furnaces and walking around on the fur rugs. Since my Sesame loves soft things and being warm as well as being outdoors, she couldn't have been placed in a better area. Even now she's asleep on her favourite plush blanket.
Anyway I just wanted to share this, and to let anyone else who also donated to Joe, know that your lil animals are out there in Tyria now. Also to keep an eye out for this reward for this year's Extra Life :)
