External link →This is the conclusion Iv come to thus far, and I believe this will probably be the route I take. Especially since I want to experience the story in a somewhat coherent way. I just wanted to hear some different opinions, if there will be any anyways.
You can always buy the $50 3 expansion pack (Saving $10) then wait on getting living world bundles until you can afford it. To note, gems and these go on sale occasionally throughout the year so you can potentially grab them cheaper. You can then hit Cantha out of the gate with everyone else if you want as well.
You will likely have a pretty long time until the living world, yet you will technically be missing some story steps in-between expansions if you are trying to advance in order and progress decently fast. In that case, go with what people above have said.
