I'm talking about developers and players.

I am totally for having new, fresh developers fill the roles of others who wanted to part ways. It does a studio good to have fresh energy, new ambitions and different conversations. On the flip side, we also need veteran developers who have been here from the start, who know the lore like the back of their hand and can write code blind folded.

Do we know how many developers are still at ArenaNet since Guild Wars 1? Since beta weekend of Guild Wars 2?

This is all out of sheer curiosity.

How many players are still here from GW2 beta weekend? Any of you still playing who have been in Tyria since GW1?

What's your story?

I've been around since the release of GW1 and I've played GW2 since beta weekend. I have a 7 month old now, and I've gone back to school, so my game time went from playing every night and most of the weekends, down to two nights a week for a couple hours. I still love it. I don't have my Skyscale, I don't have 500 Ascended cooking. Yet, I still have all the home instance nodes, 100% all the zones and I keep up with the story.

So what's your story? Developers, players, how many long time Tyrian's do we have left?

I've Been around since a few months before the Guild Wars E3 for everyone event back in 2004. I Worked on Guild Wars Beyond content with Linsey and Robert Gee who are also both still here. There are still some of the old school Guild Wars folks around, and certainly plenty of people who worked on the initial launch of Guild Wars 2. I don't know the exact numbers, but I think it's safe to say, as the saying goes, "there are dozens of us!"
