Ah, nice, more narrative focused stuff! First the PAX panel, then Lore AFC on forums and now this...it'll be fun. It's curious that we've seen quite a bit of narrative/lore focus lately, but I'm not complaining as they always have interesting behind the scenes stuff to share with nice and informative dev guests. I guess it's time to start betting which folks from the Narrative Team (or otherwise) will be making an appearance and which aspects of the narrative they'll focus on (will they, for example, have a segment on environmental storytelling). :)
I wonder what surprise they have in store for the stream, but I like that they'll include snippets of VO sessions. I've always found the VO process fascinating (not only because of my interest in AV translation and the actors' methods of delivering lines and whether they do it solo or get to interact with other actors), and I've enjoyed those ANet VO videos (not to mention the curious cut lines and outtake files) from the past, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of lines we'll hear. Troy Baker's insight into the characters he's voiced (Logan, Vorpp) was always fascinating to hear, for instance, and I imagine Nolan North would chuckle at the fact that he's managed to voice two villains (Mordremoth, Joko) so far. Would've loved to see videos of Peter Jessop having a VO session for Balthazar, though, as he really delivered a powerful performance fitting of a vengeful god of war.
Have ANet always recorded in Burbank, though? There have been a few takes at least which were recorded elsewhere if my memory serves me (I imagine so for Tara Strong who often has specific requirements for her VO sessions due to her location). Most curious.
