@CountCristo42 @konbendith its also dependent on how good the planner controls are. I think most are happy with it these days but around release it was very divisive. You dont want a system necessarily that takes 5 years to tune :D
@CountCristo42 @konbendith its hard to measure but with some confidence I would say that 99.9% of ppl use the battleplanner, but also that similar number of people do at least once or twice manually poke around. The general person, more than that
@konbendith the loss of control is very scary to most players tho I think and the option to do both means you feel forced to engage in a mechanic you may not always enjoy because you are better than AI
@konbendith I am the same. for hoi4 I tried to strike a balance but I am one of those disgusting people who will play HOI3 without micro. just high level goal setting and HQ stances
@albertlondres13 @BurntShooter FPS would actually scale quite well because then you would design the game to be player character centric and you can only affect stuff from where you are :D
@BurntShooter do you also have a good idea for how that would scale to allow you to do all other stuff you need to do in the game :D

We got the Kangaroo in the canadian tree if my memory serves
@No431onthelist @HOI_Game my memory on the exact reasoning on this is a little hazy but the tank trees are a bit of a square peg/round hole situation sometimes where light and heavy definitions dont always exist for each nation + you need to weigh in the fact that you want the most well known tanks there
@konbendith for designers I seldom get it stated in numbers, just that they like game X and Y. I'll often ask to get an idea though and start a conversation. I dont think you should really list your steam stats :D
