Seeing the new unreal engine game demos and I’m just imagining HLL 2 is going to be absolutely mind blowing. Keep the game exactly the same, just like Red Orchestra 2. the same just with better graphics, game mechanics, etc. but HLL is a Gem of a game and I can’t thank you devs enough for brining a Red Orchestra experience to console players.

Understandable. But I’m mainly wanting to know if the devs have their eyes on UE5. As I feel the graphics sometimes hold this game back from being the best WW2 game ever.

No UE5 for HLL. It will only bring alot of issues rather then improvements. Entire systems need to be rewritten from scratch, players with older systems wont ever be able to play. Even players with HDDs or SSDs wont be able to play. Performance would go down for many if certain UE5 systems were enabled...

For console its a lucky break because it has a NVMe, but a game with multiple platforms need the game to work on all platforms.

UE4 is perfect as is. There are many improvements that will happen, system wise and quality wise, but within the UE4 versions in my opinion.
