[2021] A glitch had caused me to lose all progress, rank, dlc and unlocks!

This is a request from a friend of mine:

A glitch had caused me to lose all progress, rank, dlc and unlocks! Help! I was playing, and got off the game for about 4 hours and left the game on in the menu. When I came back, I tried to join a server and it said "no compatible servers". I restarted the game, it showed some servers so I joined one and when I got in I realized all my classes and rank had been set to level 1! I have put about 660 hours into the game, so it hard to see it all washed away. Only things that remained is the winter warfare DLC, and the short sleeves for Germany. Even the $5ish dollar recently released DLC was gone. Anyone know what to do? I have already contacted support, and really like this game and think the devs did a great job, but I really do not want to have to unlock everything again.
