[2021] PINNED: We will never sell the Exotics for real money

A great question around this was raised by a customer. To do so, would break the game entirely. We have enough things to balance, without destroying the reason for playing the game. We plan to substantially expand the items you can purchase with exotics ... carefully... so we can rebalance them cautiously. But we will NOT make exotics purchasable with real world money. You are prospectors - your reward is the exotics to spend on your future missions.

Absolutely - we had planned to do these kinds of changes this weekend. But a number of users have had a lot of problems, so we have been focused on trying to help them. We will continue to rebalance and adjust and consolidate the tech tree etc... and add requested features.

We want to do this, but its complex for balance. So we will def be doing that, its a very highly requested feature. But we need some time to carefully implement it.
