Before writing this I have to disclose that I have a rather beefy computer with a 3070 so I know my results may be different than others due to how difficult the game is to run. I am only speaking on my experience using a decently "high end" rig.

In a recent change (last 6 or so years) to the gaming community where games are put out in lackluster states, with infinite bugs just to gain enough profit to move on to the next game. Let me be the first to say, WELL FREAKING DONE!!! Seriously, round of applause to the guys/gals over at RocketWerkz. This is by far one of the best games that has been released in quite a while.

The absolute attention to detail from kill cams on arrows etc, the way the logs split, to how real and vivid everything in the game feels is absolutely breathtaking...and don't get me started on the incredible views/scenery. I was extremely skeptical due to the game trailer looking so fantastic, I figured the game would flop like all the rest.

In terms of UI the game is one of the best I have played. Everything is very easy to pick up and feels extremely fluid. The character build customization with talent trees and tech points is also extremely refreshing, its like an RPG mixed with survival and it is done very well.

Now on to a few critiques that I have that are merely suggestions...

- Would love to see more weapons added in the future (Swords, two-handed axes, clubs/hammers) really the sky is the limit here. In addition I think shield would be great too...taking aggro as a "tank" while your buddies use ranged attacks to kill animals would add a level of teamwork to the game.

-Ranking up weapons: You can get to a Bone knife +10 by adding material for it to do more damage. Just like many other games this is always a cool feature.

- Setting up traps to ensnare bears, wolfs, etc... Maybe some fire traps or poison traps

- Lootables in the world in chests or maybe carried on high level animals. For example: You manage to kill a level 30 bear with a bone knife and on him you find an Iron one that you can use for that prospect as a type of reward. Maybe the bear killed another prospector and its running around with the knife still in him? Idk just an idea.

- Obviously a re-spec option for talents. Its off-putting to place a bunch of points into something and find out you don't like said thing and now you have to create a new character. Also maybe levels after 20 grant 2 talent points instead of 1 (the number of Talent points is a little low to specialize a build)

If you have any other suggestions, drop them below and maybe we can get some attention from the devs as they seem to be very active.

There's a lot I really like here, its late and I need to sleep so I'll unpack it all later. But I absolutely love the lootables idea. I'm going to discuss it tomorrow. I'll reply more later after I've had a sleep.
