[2023] Melee attack on Left Click

So I am playing a Druid, and I use Swipe as my main filler attack on left mouse button.

As far I remember I used to be able to left click on an enemy and hold it down, to continually use Swipe on that enemy until it died.

However, when I do that now, my character uses Swipe once on that enemy and then moves past the enemy, and doesn't use Swipe again until i release left click and click again.

It feels so clunky to use now. Did they change something here or am I going crazy???
