Hello, I have been following Last Epoch for a while now and it seems like it might be right up my alley but I have a question about microtransactions and cosmetic points.

Currently, another example is Path of Exile. They have a pretty great game but without paying anything, your character's visual progression (which is an important aspect for me in ARPGs) is pretty limited. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem paying extra for greatly designed visual additions but my problem with PoE is their cash shop being absurdly expensive. Single skins for 40 $ - 60 $ price tag without great ingame skin options is simply too much when other cosmetic-based cash shop games like Warframe or Guild Wars 2 charges like %10 of it for far more detailed skins so I want to ask, especially devs, what is the value $10 can buy in your game? Do you think 10$ is enough to buy 1 or 2 skins or is only %10 of a single skin?

You said that you want to keep base price low and fund the game with MTX so you should at least have an idea how much you want to charge and expect per month to keep going with development so what is your target audience? Whales or regular players buying in large quantities?

Hey there! It's pretty far out to tell at the moment. There's a ton of factors involved in this decision as well. All I can really say is that our mtx will be less than some other companies. I know we've all agreed on that and stated it in a public setting before. Don't know if that helps!

Hey thanks for the answer. I hope you guys keep up the regional pricing via steam for ingame purchases too (like using steam for cosmetic points with regional pricing) . Seeing such fair pricing for other currencies simply makes spending on a game feel so much better! Also bought and currently downloading your game!

Hmm that's something to think about as well. Will bring it up with the team, thanks! Welcome to the community traveler!
