It’s that time of year again when we reveal some of the behind the screens fun things we’ve been working on! Our team has been working incredibly hard this past year and part of that work involves some mandatory fun. Through it all, our team has had the support of their families and pets to get them through to where we are now. That’s why we are happy to present to you the latest addition to the world of Eterra.
May I present to you, Puppy Love!
Something Unique
Puppy Love will not only buff your minions’ Damage and Health, but will also give you a chance to gain an extra minion regardless of your current minion cap. It also has a brand new buff that increases Minion damage and Crit Chance by 100% for a short time. But the icing on the cake is that, Puppy love will also give you a small chance to be reunited with Palus in combat.
Who is Palus? We will get to that.
Puppy Love requires players to complete just one quest to receive it; and we are going to tell you outright how to get it because we would never joke about something like this.
Off the Leash
Off the Leash is triggered by speaking to a specific NPC, Keeper John Alros “Ruffus” Von Barkley, in any of the town hubs throughout the game. Keeper Ruffus is actually 3 dogs, 2 cats, a ferret, and a black dragon wyrmling in a trench-cloak, and is hiding as a random NPC. The quest has a 4.1% chance to trigger and with all of the NPCs in the game, that’s only 202.3% chance of you getting started right away! Once the quest triggers, you will need to find, Agony. She can be found in one of the town hubs in the Ruined Era. Talk to Agony and she will tell you that Maximus and Minimus’ time-jumping puppy has gone missing. The Puppy’s name is Palus, and he needs to be brought home. She has no idea where he is so, you’re on your own for this one. Thankfully, this shouldn’t be too hard. I mean, it’s only the world of Eterra with 5 traversable eras and 100s of locations, plus an enormous Monolith of Fate that is totally always the same and never changes. Piece of cake right?
Once you find Palus, which will be totally easy, he will drop a unique Puppy love Relic!
And that’s it! Or is it?
