Ooh wee! I was looking forward to the typical graphical updates/optimizations this patch but performance has absolutely tanked for me. I've seen a few other people complain about this as well, but most of the conversation right now is centered around the MoF changes. I'm on a 2080ti and OC'd 9900k at 1440p, but GPU and CPU utilization seem to have dropped off quite a bit in the new patch. Changing graphics settings to very low and restarting only nets about 5-10 fps depending on the zone. A lot of zones are far worse than they were pre-patch, particularly the ruins in Act 3. Which can dip down to around 22 FPS in places, which I consider pretty much unplayable. Zones which previously hung around 100 FPS or so when the action got hot now sit around 55-60. I'm dreading getting to some of the more dense maps later in the campaign as well as some of the more notorious performance degrading echoes. Harton/Zerrick fight going to be netting like 10 fps.
Anyway, is anyone else having similar issues, and if so, is anything being done right now to address this? The patch notes mentioned optimization to lighting and shadows, but the early results on my new character show that across the board performance has heavily degraded, often to unplayable levels depending on the zone, which isn't great considering performance was already really inconsistent, pulling a full 144 FPS in some zones and dipping into the forties for no reason on others.
