Steam deck.

Friend just bought me the game for my birthday, best gift ever. I've seen some stuff in the past about crashes and stuff on steamdeck does anybody have any advice and useful info that could help, I saw Cryoutilities being recommended but it seems a bit complicated to me, I'm now a very PC savvy guy I've been a console gamer all my life and only had the deck for about 3 months so I'm still not very used to it, any help or advice people have would be greatly appreciated, sorry if you're sick of people asking this stuff.
