Hey everyone!
Some of you may already know me, while others may not, but I’ve been a long time Last Epoch player and enthusiast over the past few years. During this time, I've been eager to find ways to apply and expand my skill set while also contributing to the LE community. In recent months, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.
A fellow LE enjoyer Motas recently reached out on the public Discord server to inquire if anyone had plans to develop a tool like Path of Building for LE. The aim is to create a website that allows for optimizing, fine-tuning, and deep diving into the theorycrafting of builds. We also have a desire to develop simulators and emulators for mechanics such as crafting and Vaults of Uncertain Fate. We have already made some progress in these endeavors over the past 6 months. Although it's not yet ready for viewing we are determined to turn our vision into reality. Today, we eagerly invite 2-3 passionate LE players to join us on this journey.
Through this post, our goal is to connect with a couple of individuals who are capable in one or more of the following areas:
- Web Development/Design (particularly TypeScript/Svelte)
- Database Management (particularly PostgreSQL/Prisma)
- Dev Ops
\ We are not looking for any testers at the moment, but soon*TM.
About Our Project:
It's important to note that Last Epoch Optimizer is a passion project, at this stage, so work will be voluntary. We don’t have an exact deadline, we aren’t a large team with a lot of time, but feel we are capable of this challenge. As stated before, the site is going to be a PoB-like tool and a place to simulate/emulate various game mechanics. This is our initial goal for our minimum viable product, but might expand on it in the future.
