DoTs are crazy overtuned. You know it, I know it, we all know it. They penetrate most of your defences and deal insane amounts of damage to you. Getting killed in a single tick of a dot when you can handle all other forms of damage just fine isn't fun. It leads to gameplay moments where you think you have understood how aggressive you can be in a given fight, and then you dip your little toe into a poison pool for half a second and immediately die from full health.
But like I said you know all this. It's not exactly news. DoTs have been a big problem for ages. It's part of why ward is so inherently powerful, it's one of the only defensive options that also works against DoTs.
So, have the devs said anything about it? Is it on their radar? Have they said on a livestream it's something they're working on?
