New in-game armor sets vs cosmetics

Hello,

will EHG regularly add new in-game armor sets (obtainable by just playing) each season or will they go POE/Diablo 4 route that 99% focus on shop cosmetics?

I am a sucker for good-looking armor sets and weapons but after spending over 300€ in Diablo 4 just on just skins (the first 2 seasons before I quit) I finally realized that I no longer want to play a game where I can get new good looking sets and weapons only by buying it, as a matter of principle.

I have no problem supporting games I love, I spent a lot of money on games in the past, but I got sick of this practice that the best-looking armor and weapons are from microtransactions. I would rather pay for each seasonal content and have great-looking armor sets achievable by playing ...

I realized that my motivation to play is more about the visual progression of the armor and weapons than the power of the items.
