Hey guys! While we wait on season 2 I had the idea of doing a community event: A Unique Hunt.
The whole idea is hunting down unique items and getting points depending on how rare they are. After a certain amount of time (maybe 2 weeks? Not sure but any ideas would be awesome!).
I’m working on a spreadsheet in google sheets that can be saved by anyone who wants to participate that will have all uniques and points on it. You would save a copy, fill it out (maybe with screenshots of you finding it on the ground?), and then email it to me with your Reddit username and whoever has the most points wins!
Since it’s the first one I’m not planning on doing a prize but if this is something the community likes I would love to have a prize pull (maybe even EHG could give some in game currency as a prize if they see this!). I mostly just want to gauge turn out and excitement with this and doing it every season.
So here are the rules that could be changed if people want that:
Must create a new SSF character
There will be an official start time. You CANNOT make your character before
Absolutely no trading. Joining CoF is fine but if you join Merchants you would be DQ’d
Since it’s the first one and there isn’t a prize id be a little lenient on this but you’d have to include screenshots of the drop itself. Maybe even have to record yourself getting the drops when a prize is involved.
Grouping with people would be ok unless the community doesn’t like that.
That’s about what I’ve got. I want to start this sometime in January. Let me know what you guys think!
