[2019] Primalist beastmaster falling off

So I just bought the beta access today, poured like 5 hours in and am sitting at level 36 on a primalist beastmaster. I have 2 wolves, a bear, and a sabrecat. The single target dps from this build seems pretty damn strong, but against larger groups I find myself slowing down to pick off the stragglers. I’ve started putting points in ice cat for some aoe as well as the thorns for the bear, so I’m hoping that’ll help with aoe clear. Anyway, my question is, is a full zoo beastmaster viable? Or should I focus more so on say getting 3 wolves out and then supporting them myself instead of sticking with all the companions?
