Steam Deck Controller Changed

I recently noticed that while playing on my steam deck/controller that when I pull up the option wheel while holding selecting and moving to whichever option with the right stick. I now have to click "A" to select the option in stead of it auto selecting it. Is there a way to change this back to auto selecting whichever option is highlighted? I tried google but only find stuff from Feb this year or 2023
