Game crashes every 5-10 minutes.

The game crashes every 5-10 minutes, online or offline mode. I tried to reduce my graphics settings and cap the frame rate but nothing worked. The last patch made it worse, can't even get past the burning forest area, crashes every time I try to talk to the guy there. If I can't resolve this, will have to ask for a refund even though I like the game. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
