Is this game geoblocked?

It's been 3 days of LE-65 trying to connect to online play, I am based in North Africa and the closest servers to me are EU West (around 65 ping to that), Out of curiosity I decided to give it a go with my azure hosted (France) VPN and it actually worked and it seems that I can only connect to online servers while using a European based VPN.

Is there an official word on any region blocking for this game?

We certainly do not region block but we have heard that EU ISPs are sometimes block connecting to online gaming services. I’d be interested to start collecting info on our EU players having issues and see if the ISPs are the same
