With the new corruption catch up mechanic you can force a Shade fight every three echoes by resetting your corruption back to 100 using the Eterra echo at the center of the web, completing another regular echo at 100 corruption forces a spawn of a Shade echo right next to the one you just completed. Shade drops are calculated based on corruption that his defeat is going to be at afterwards and not your current corruption rate. Use this to farm for Omni's, Apothy, Chains and etc. It should also be noted that he does get bonus drop % for items based on how far out the echo is so droprate on Omni's does kinda suck but I've managed to get one every 25 minutes or so with this at 345 corruption.
